I just picked up VF5FS last night since it was only 600 MSP, and I figured it'd be nice to learn a new fighting game. Wow, was I impressed. Definitely something I'm going to be playing a lot of. I think Jacky is going to be my main; he just seems to click pretty well with me.

I'm from New Zealand but now living in Japan. I've always loved the series, and almost blew my entire student loan playing VF2. I love the throw game so I started off with Wolf, but actually have more foe-tossing fun with big Taka.

Hello. I've been lurking for a little bit, and finally decided to sign up. I see a lot of familiar names here. To say that I "main" Kage would be an understatement, as I haven't touched another character since VF4:Evo. Despite the significant amount of time I've put into VF4 and 5, I'm not much of a fighting game aficionado otherwise. I don't really care to study frames and such. Still, I like to consider myself a decent mid-level player, currently a Berserker with over 3700 ranked matches in Final Showdown.

Hope I can make some buddies to play with.

Hey guys....i'm really new. Let's see...I'm 19....I'm from Chicago. I am currently in college.(It's located in St.Peter, MN). This is my first VF game. I haven't been able to play it must besides trying out characters like Wolf, Brad, and Sarah. i'm feeling Sarah and Wolf as mains. My main games...well I have played many games, but I'm mostly a DOA, Sc, and Mk all together. And I'm really interest to see what is all the hype about Vf. I think the game is amazing to watch. I just wish i understood what was going besides the basics.

Yeah the game isn't as hard as I thought. I'm still get use to movement though.

Well not really old but just not as young as us
the average US VF player is in their early to late 30's
explains why they R so good at the game, through experience

i'm really new in 3D games but when i watch VF, i love that: game, graphism, mechanics...

So now, i will progress in VF and become a "logic" player (logic: when i can combo, when i can't, when i'm dont have the frame advantage....)

And for that i read the forum since 3 month xD
