My name is SteelLariat, born and raised in Detroit Michigan. I just got into Virtua Fighter two years ago and still love it to this day. Despite not having Xbox Live, I still love the technical gameplay and the controls of VF. I'm going to do my part to increase the community especially at U of D since many people go to the student lounge to play Xbox. I'm no expert but I'm starting to learn how to hold my own. If there's any Michigan VF players my gamertag is KingpinMalc24 (cause I'm planning to get Xbox Live on my birthday). That doesn't mean anyone else isn't allowed, I just want to know if there's any other VF players in Michigan or even better in Detroit. Looking forward to meeting more players and getting some games going on.

Hey everyone. I' relatively new to VF, played VF4 when I was really young, now I play VF5 seriously. My main is Akira. Hope to play some of yall on VF5FS (because I have PS3 -_-)

I'm not exactly "new", but I've been abscent from VF for over a year. The anouncemnt of VF5FS got me hype, and was the main reason I joined up. I was heartbroken when it wasn't released to consoles, and pretty much dropped it. Found out about a week ago that SEGA is indeed releasing it to consoles, got the VF5 disk, dusted it off, and put it into my x-box ASAP.
Starting off brand new again. I was using TheBradShow last year, but I'm starting to try and learn Goh now. Glad to be part of the community again (and hopefully I'll stay around longer, contribute, learn from the OG's here, and become a competitive player).
I hope to play some of you soon, get some practice sessions in or what not.

Hi there, everyone. You can call me Raika. I'm a new Virtua Fighter player from Georgia, and my main character is Vanessa. I hope to see you all online when Final Showdown comes out, but until then, it's the Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution tutorial mode for me. Awwww yeah. <3

 

here is some advise for you. Look for the good people yourself and ask if they want to help you get better. There are a few good Vans floating around for some real online battles and training. Take the initiative to find the people first and make yourself known you might want to go on the shoutbox and talk to the people there and see if the people there are willing to challenge you.

I figured I should do this eventually, and it's better sooner than later. Hi, I'm KSR(normally KSRepraved). No lie...I have never played Virtua Fighter and don't even own the game. But I love fighting games, the communities, everything about them lol. I made this account a while ago since I figured I'd eventually end up playing it. My friend has been getting me into the idea of VF more and more recently.

Hope I don't bore you guys with the long post, but I probably will get a used copy of VF5 to practice up a bit. My original idea was to wait for FS, since Jean is in it, and that is the character I want to main (KS= Karate Style...my fav). But, I know the sad reality is that I won't do that character any justice if I don't take the time to learn the mechanics first. I'll just make myself, and VF players look bad if I don't do this now. My friend told me to start with Jacky, since he can't really think of anyone that would transition well to Jean anyway. Good idea?

Sry for the long intro. I'll read around some more. Nice to be apart of the site. Honestly, it feels awkward since I've been watching vids of VF for over a year, yet never took the time to play it myself.
