Hey wassup man!?!? Welcome to the site... Who do you play with on vf5 right now?

 

Played VF throughout the years, but always on an extremely casual level. It was always a tough game (compared to the mash-friendly tekken) and i would usually shy away from it. Saw some of the new trailers for the upcoming game, and I'm now motivated to give VF a serious shot. Since I'm starting over fresh, I'll have plenty of questions to ask.

Yeah! Get it on 360. We're close enough for a good online connection. Also, if you want to venture to Riverside, I have VF night at my house every two weeks or so. There will be one this Thursday. 7:30pm to 11:00 pm.

 

Just bought it today. only 12 bucks, good deal.

 

Holy crap, have two years just gone by? Life happens fast past 35, and it gets in the way of my VF time, dammit.

Things are finally settling down a bit again, so I'm down for some educational throttling at VF. Is there anyone who doesn't mind practicing on a rusty old Pai/Sarah/(maybe Eileen?) player trying to relearn the ropes?

 

There are plenty of people here willing to help you being a pai player myself I would love to see you and just how rusty you are. I am sure the rust can't be that bad.

 

Hello. I just joined. I don't play much of any video games, but figured that I go for it, because I find this one to be the most brilliant fighting game.

 

Hi, i'am Mr. Lee I've known about Virtua Fighter since 2002 when I was smaller(about 10), and long story short the game kicked my ass at first. Then I became a huge Tekken fan, but after years of it I got extremely bored of the repetitive nature of the game as I would find myself easily sidetracked from matches. I was sick of "Hey let me knock my opponent into the air about 100 times to get a juggle started and repeat" and that's is all the model in Tekken revolves around now. So bored of Tekken, and in order to fill my fighting game fix, I borrowed a copy of the original Virtua Fighter 4 from my friend. I was in love, because I forgot how challenging the game was in regards to actually learning how to play correctly. After awhile I grew disinterested, because I knew there were other versions available, so one day I waltzed into my local "Play n' Trade" and I bought VF4 Evo for the hefty price of only 4 dollars, and I have been playing it ever since. I main Vanessa, and Sarah; but, I can also use Brad, Jacky, and Akira at an adapt level(although, I still can't get the knee out) and I'm now experimenting with Aoi, Pai, and Jeffery. Hopefully I can get a PS3 so I can finally get my hands on VF5, 4 years after the fact. >_>

Hi, my name is TEX and I am an Ex-Tekken fan. I came here to find out the latest updates if VF5FS will get a console release. I have been play Virtua Fighter since Virtua Fighter 2 on PC. I played that more than my old Tekken games. Every since VF5 I have been waiting on an update to the game. Tekken 6 sucked. I truly hate that game. Not because of the fighting mechanics. It is because everything is based on lag online and SC mode. I just never could find myself loving that game. I hope when VF5FS comes out I hope this heals my bitterness to Tekken 6.

Hi my name is MLAI and I own the PS3 VF5. Came here to learn how to play better and to check on updates for PS3 VF5 Final; if that never comes out I will hate Sega forever for making me buy the POS, non-online version of VF5.

The other game I currently play seriously is Dawn of War 2.

 

Isn't there an offline scene in your area where you can play the PS3 version with other people. There are a few people here that are from the Philippines too, have you tried to set up matches with them.

 

I'm in Singapore currently. It's a city-state (like Morocco) on an island just south of Malasia. It was a British colony that has since declared independence, and is now populated by Chinese, Malays, Indians, and Australians/Brits. National language is English.

Anyways, yeah I posted in the networking subforum looking for an offline VF scene in Singapore to hang out with. I'm not interested in an arcade, just fellow VF players who get together around an X360/PS3. And take turns buying Pizza Hut I guess.
