I've been playing Virtua Fighter for a long time but it's always nice to hear some tips from people. In my opinion I'm good as Aoi. She's been my main for a long time. But if you have any tips or tricks you can tell me about I would very grateful. Thanks!

I'm not new to the game or the sight I changed my email address and had to create another account. There are not many ppl into VF where I live so it is an honor to meet ppl whom fanatics about a real freaking fighting game.

 

Hi, I'm new. I'm a big time Tekken fan, who used to suck at VF, but after playing online Tekken one day, decided to pick up VF5 again, but with an all sanwa mod fightstick in hand...... And loved it. Now I main Akira. It took me some time, but I've got the hang of most of his moves now, besides KNEE.

I wish I'd found out this place sooner to add my 2 cents to the petition

 

I'm new to Virtua Fighter (5) in the sense that I haven't played a Virtua Fighter game since Sega32X but I am gettin back into it with Lei-Fei.... I told myself I Refuse to go online without a Healthy knowledge of at least ONE character on the game... First it was Vanessa but I didn't like her much... (Nice boobs tho lol) But then I picked up Lei-Fei because I love Fighters with Many stances when they work Fluently ... and Boy DO THEY... I am currently *75-0* in Quest mode with a few 9th and 10th Dans under my belt, finished Lei-Fei's Command attack in 6"00" with a rank of 500-somthing (But I can do better), (btw) I am on Xbox360 (Just saying, incase PS3 ever got online)... I need some basic fighting Tips... that are staple in the game. I am still working on Switching my reflex to having a guard "Button" as opposed to just holding back on the D-pad, coming from Tekken, once I get that down I feel like I am a force to be Reckoned with... I am playin this game to get good enough to play in Virtua Fighter Toureys... is it allowed in a match to use the Street Fighter Fight Pad normally or , , , , , no, cause I will have a Fight stick within the next couple of weeks.

Good luck with learning Lei-Fei, he's one of the more difficult characters (in my opinion) for a beginne to use. Not so much with input difficulty, rather because there's a lot to remember and Lei can be very easy to get stuck in flowcharts with.

If you're from the UK or Europe then I'll see you online at some point, if you're stateside or from Oz then my connection with you will be pretty unplayable.

Would you believe if i said that there is a very little relation to performance in how fast you can do all your characters moves?
(sure its nice to know that you can do them.)

I think its more important to know moves properties and know where to do them.

I Believe you 110% Lol your right I do just like to know them... but I still haven't memorized enough of his moves and what they do for me to feel comfortable to go online yet.
