oh yeah? I did a bit of some dojo stuff with him on the control pad, but I just dismissed it as needing a joystick. I'll give it another go. maybe keep on. thanks man/.

Hi guys! I've been a fan of VF for a long time, but just recently have gotten into it a lot more and actually started trying to learn the deeper aspects of the game. I'm sure this site will be quite helpful in that.

 

Yo! The names Shikabo. 2 fav characters are Wolf and Kage. Been playing VF since the dreamcast. Despite this I still suck and continue to be a student of the game. If anyone has any tips and tricks for these 2 characters please let me know. Thanx

 

Hi, im a new scruby member just for the reply on final showdown but i think the site its great so maybe ill stay around for some time.

As a Vf player never had a proper experience, i used to play the arcades when i was kid( i think it was VF1 or VF2 dont remember), later on the PS2 and now VF5 on the PS3 sadly for me no interaction whit the world so my competition lvl is very low.

I love all the fighting games but this is really by far the most enjoying games off all, oh god i can feel those punches lol the sounds of it its very gratifying specially the akira ones...

Hi guys I be getting my vf5 for ps 3 later I'm frm Singapore n I'm a Tekken player but got entice toff after seeing some competitive clips in YouTube. Some ans for u guys here ps3 vf5 haf no online play? Too bad sg community had little vf players more Tekken players and most SF players.... And I'm interested in learning Akira wads u gguy say? I Noe he is a hard character to master

 

Before you can master a character you have to master the system which is a feat in itself. A lot of us still aren't there yet.

As for Akira...eh. I wouldn't say he's a good character for beginners, he is very input heavy and has no full circular attacks which will mean you'll have to learn to delay attack and read stances earlier (for half circulars).

On the other hand. After you've played with Akira for a bit your basics should be better as that is what he thrives on.

I don't know enough about Tekken to compare Akira to a cast member there in terms of playstyle.

jk. well, i finally got an xbox again. Today i'm having a VF marathon, i'll be online for most of the day looking for challengers. Did 2 matches yesterday and got my ass kicked. I need practice. Also, who are the stars this season? Any favorites?
