If you go to Xbox live section here and look there you will find the live tags of players in your region as well. If you go to the Good games section here you will know who has been playing recently. Hey I'm Mike from London, I just started getting into VF on XBL a couple of months ago after I got tired of waiting half a day in the Gears of War 2 lobby for one match, at least on VF I can get matches faster even if they are occasionally laggy,

Goh & Vanessa are my two main chracters although I'm now trying to use Aoi & Kage too,

 

I played your Vanessa in a few ranking match before, the lag was terrible and but I had no issues major issues with your Vanessa. Look me up next time you are online.

Hey, name's Fork from North Carolina. Just started playing VF5 about three weeks ago. Played a little VF4, but not much, so still adjusting to the game. Hello everybody! I'm from Melbourne Australia, wondering if there are any other players around here?

 

My story

I've played video games since I was a kid and I love a good fighting game. I just got Virtua Fighter 4 Evo and I'm very happy with my purchase. Before this I was pretty solid Tekken 5 player and I liked to play as Bryan, Kazuya, and Heihachi. Tekken is a pretty technical fighter as well, but Virtua Fighter is the most well balanced fighting series I have ever played.

I jump around from many different fighting games so I have some skill, but my experience playing humans is fairly limited. Fighting games are of primary interest to me because of how quickly the strategy changes. The timing, combos, juggling, pace, and style all interest me. I have good strategy, but my hand dexterity isn't that great.

At present the character that interest me are Sarah, Pai, and Goh. I have heard from others and seen for myself that Goh is very difficult to learn. In a fighting game I always like to learn two starkly different characters for 2 reasons. 1. Playing different characters forces you to use new strategies and think differently. 2 When playing against a friend switching from one character style to another can be a shock to their system. In Tekken 3 I liked to switch between Ling Xiaou and Heihachi. So that about sums it up for me, I look forward to future discussions and would like to wish everyone a happy holiday season.
