This would be true if the feedback system properly reflected the players. It's useful to avoid people, but in no way a good tool to critique who is nice and who is whack.

It's not just the feedback. People are fickle, if people were free to change their gamertag at everywhim every one would have a new one every week. That would just suck.

it kind of does, you can leave feedback that doesnt affect their rep.. lacking skill or unfamiliar with the game dont affect reps.. there should be more options so i can describe why i dont like playing with them..
i agree totally.. itd be slightly different if you couldnt take your gamerpoints with you but that doesnt matter to some people.. plus that makes it really hard to avoid ppl unless youre leaving bad feedback on their xbox (but what if they sell it? preemptive avoiding the next owner?)..

id also like a better display of feedback.. 5 stars is pretty standard and i less than 5 stars is probably a newb.. id like their stars to represent whether or not they're the type of person i normally leave feedback for.. for ex, i dont like quiters, racists, homophobes, 8 year olds and babbling idiots - maybe a 3 star person to me is a homophobic 8 year old quiter, the game tries to avoid them AND shows me 3 stars as a warning..

I dislike the whole achievement idea since 90% of young scrubs think they matter, which they dont. Worst thing is that they mislead people to think that VF is something other than 2P game.

Btw. the VF5 Item Pack 2 is now available via xbox live.
This time there are only 2 items per character for 200 points.

they matter to me, i like them and i work a lil extra to get achievements i want.. they dont tell the whole story, some ppl have lots of achievements and stink at a game.. some ppl are really good and only have a few..

achievements and gamercards are like ring names and items.. it all optional for the most part.. any name will do, any suit will do.. but anything to make it more personal and show your 'dedication' to the game makes it more for more people..
MORE!! jesus.. now i gotta hunt around to see what vanessa's new items look like.. 1st pack did nothing for me..

No one cares about achievements one way or another. If you hate them you'll do far more damage to them by just ignoring them.

I got the second item pack, looks like everyone gets the pink light plate for their feet and hair color. Nothing special IMO.

Every character has the pointless pink light plate for their toes and one more preposterous hairstyle - Whatever colour hair they had in the last item pack is the same but with a different style: (bright orange, green, blue or pink). eg. Jacky now has bright orange swept hair (or whatever it's called) in addition to his bright orange ponytail. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/sick.gif

£2.10 this cost me - it may as well have been £210 considering how much I regreted it. The first item pack was good, but next time I'll check before purchasing item pack 3.

The only thing of any worth what-so-ever was a gold El Blaze mask (Phoenix). Why anyone would want these items is beyond me.

I'd have to say item pack 2 is a letdown. If enough of us email sega asking them to release more REAL version C items, things might get done.

I'm up for that but rather than items give us the ability to mix costumes

Green shaggy hair and a pink footplate. Cack!

I agree, more version C items, less God-awful light plates and punk hair. Although I think these items are already built into the DVD as the downloads are so small - so I don't think we'll be seeing too many more good items.
Definitely need this feature from ver. C. It wouldn't be too hard for them to allow us to download a script so we can add trousers from Type A to use on Type B for example. This is the most important addition to Version C and would be so easy to implement. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

should we send our own emails or organize and write a standard email that everyone sends. I did that once with a whole bunch of people and it worked.

I already emailed them this morning and i'm sure something might happen if enough of us send them mail. I basically stated that the items in the game right now are all from late version B, the lastest ones being this april and rather than an item pack containing a palette swap of an already existing hairstyle and light plate, how about some actual NEW version C items and the ability to swap lower garments between a,b,c and d.
