Nothing good... Huh? This is such bullshit. It's like one of the previous post stated... You are paying for something that is already on your disc that you already paid $62 for. If you want to impress me than give me a whole new fighter, or moves, or outfit, or arena, etc... Ok I know a new fighter is not going to happen, but what about the other things I named. Just stop feeding the loyal community with this Bullshit.

I don't know about Odd Clothing, but I would love to have Goh's old hooded sweatsuit. I used love that outfit.

This DLC is a joke as usual, after 1 and 2 I ain't even gonna bother with this crap will I see some seriously badass looking stuff.

The quest mode items are 10x better than this stuff we have to pay for.

Well, it wasn't as "wank" as I thought. The hair colours are pretty useless, the light plates are useless but Lion's silly party hat is OK, Wolf's brown headband is fantastic, Sarah's black hair is good and another El Blaze mask is always welcome.

So it wasn't a massive waste like the last Pack 2. I just think these downloads could be a lot better. With all the items missing from Version B and C they could have afforded to give us about 10 items per character per pack and we still wouldn't have had them all yet.

JUST GIVE US THE VERSION C OUTFIT MIXING AND I'LL BE HAPPY!!!

My guess is that if we even do get version C items, it will not be until version D is out in Japanese arcades.

At the moment, it appears we get a new DLC once every month. So next one is in February and my guess is we are going to get at least a new hairstyle (not a color swapped version).

Maybe if you learned how to string sentences together we might understand your question and answer it. Plus it wouldn't hurt asking this kind of question in the right part of the forum.

I second that, what's your major malfunction boy?
Look bud, theres so badass stuff i want on Wolf like. In VF Evo my Wolf had some sweet tribal like tattoos over his torso which arent in VF5. Bud until SEGA decide on what it actually badass and cool to give us instead of hair and colours alternatives that most of us wont use it isnt going to happen.

To answer your question, no the Spike Shoulders aren't in the PS3 version. They haven't been released for the 360 one yet, as I've been waiting for them too.

As for the mask, I presume you mean the Iron Helmet or possibly the Stone Helmet. I don't know if they're in the PS3 version. You'll just have to play Quest mode until you unlock all the items (go to the home menu, then Status - if Items is 100% then you've got all you're going to get). The Iron Helmet is in the 360 version, the Stone one isn't.

Also, there's not going to be the custom costume mixing as far as I know for the PS3 version, so no, you won't be able to have D with no coat. I think it may be because the PS3 version is B, and the items you want weren't released until version C.

    This makes sense.

Why would Sega make the console version as current as the arcade in terms of items and such? We were promised, and given, ver.c gameplay and more items than what the ps3 got. We were not promised the complete ver.c item set. But somehow, people still complain that they aren't able to get items they see appear in Japanese arcades, as if they somehow had a right to.

My suggestion to everyone not pleased with the item pack is to vote with your wallet and not purchase it.

Personally, I don't like not knowing what's in the item pack beforehand. It would be good if, as consumers, we were able to actually see the product we were buying, you know, like in the real world.

I'm grateful to those who have shared the item pack contents with others, which has helped them make an informed decision on whether or not to buy it. And don't get me wrong, the dollar value isn't so much the concern, it's the principle.

I did see Goh wearing a mask with green eyes online, I never saw that again on any other Goh.

IMO, while I can understand people's frustrations, I think the ammount of money is so small that as VF fans we should just DL the stuff in order to support the CONCEPT of being to DL upgrades for the game.

If you show them you don't mind paying a dollar or two, they'll be more likely to give you the things you want eventually. Remember how bare bones the PS3 version is, and how they listened to so many of the things that the hardcore fanbase wanted and gave them to us (record feature aside). They don't have to do any of this, at all.

Like I said before, if you told Japanese VF'ers that they could get almost 40 items for 200 yen through VFnet, they'd be stoked.

you're 100% right and I agree. I'm just bitchin cuz i'd like some items actually in version C since the game and intro is C as well.

Either way... Sega's got your money.

I do agree with Myke though about being able to know what you are getting before you pluck down the money. Withholding that information just seems a bit... deceiving... in some cases, and only adds to the frustration after the fact.

I agree with Myke too... It's not the money it is the princeple and the idea of it. Even if you have the money your not going to walk down the street every couple of weeks dropping dollars and if you are drop some my way. Now I am not 100% hating on Sega, its a business and they are in it to make money, but they can at least say ok 'DLC last month was CRAP so this month they get the Good Shit'.

Now Myke had the perfect solution: like most businesses show me my product before I purchase it. Not no, but HELL NO! Because as I stated above Sega is in the business of making money and they know that most of us would not buy that bull shit.
