    Re: NEW FINAL TUNED INFOR

    http://www12.plala.or.jp/toshiwon/VF4FT3.htm

ok here's the other page where all the Lei info is

and here is the actual site

    http://www12.plala.or.jp/toshiwon/virtua.htm

EDIT: KAGE KAGE KAGE KAGE KAGE KAGE KAGE

    http://www.nikujaga.fromc.jp/ftkage.html

    2nd edit:

OK, well until someone provides an actual translation, I'll go over what (I think) I understood.

    New moves:

[4][6]+[K] - Replaces the old one, and mid knee attack that can go into jumonji. Stomach crumples on MC.

[3]+[P]+[K] - Mid double handed chop, either forces crouch or recovers crouching, I don't know.

[6][2][3]+[P]+[K][P][K][K] - Dude said it's hard a fuck to do.

    Changed moves:

[6]+[P] - Kage steps foward more (less? who knows?) now. I imagine foward since his elbow practically moves backwards as of now.

[6][4]+[K] - They took this piece of shit out. Thanks Sega!

[6]+[P]+[K][P]+[K] - You can no longer delay it to take 2 drink points from Shun, you'll only get 1 (I think only the 2nd hit takes it).

GRRRRRRAAAAAAND VIPERRRRRRRRRRRRR (running [K]) - It looks like the 4th hit of "red sparrow flight leg" whatever the fuck move that is. Dude says it has become "somewhat quick".

BT [8]+[K] - Slightly different animation, but use is the same.

    BT [P]+[K] - Staggers crouchers (I think).

old ver. C [2_][3]+[P] - Doesn't knockdown on normal hit as maddy said, but it forces crouch.

[3]+[K]+[G] and [3]+[K]+[G][P]+[G] - OK there is a huge section about this and I understood...not very much. I think by holding [K]+[G] you can go into BT jumonji for wakeups after combos. But the [P]+[G] followup is new but I haven't the slightest clue how it works.

edit: also on the other page I posted earlier with the charts, it said that the [K] of [P][P][4]+[P][K] and [4][4]+[K]+[G] were changed but who knows how.

    Re: NEW FINAL TUNED INFOR

This is what I got out of it.

    New:

[2_][3][P] - Interchangeable move with the evo move "yougeki."(the uppercut move) Different from previous version, doesn't float on normal hit, only on "hard counter" (not sure if this is yellow or red counter). Takes away Shun's drinking point. Force crouch on normal hit. As in previous version (of FT) , yougeki does not float on "hard counter"

[4][6][K] - Interchangeable with heavy circular kick from Evo. Doesn't actually jump like the [2_][6][K] knee. Kage takes a small step and knees high. Causes crumble on counter hit and can be followed up with the same move or [3][K]+[G]. Foot position also changes.

[4][6][K][Hold[K]] - Heavy circular kick from Evo. Hits high, seems to come out a bit faster than before, floats on counter so can follow up with juggle. Goes into backward Jumonji.

[3][P]+[K] - Two handed shoutou that looks safe. The chops open to the side, with one hand slanted up and the other hand slanted down. Hits mid, pushes standing opponent away on normal and counter hit, but doesn't do that on crounching opponents (doesn't cause stagger either). Can be done as [2_][3][P]+[K] as well (from crounching). Feels like this move can be abused (?).

[6][2][3][P]+[K][P][K][K] - The new Kage move shown in the FT clip. Even the timing for the regular [K] follow up seems to be stricter. Basically, the timing is very hard where you have to press the 1st [K] even before the [P] motion comes out. (sounds like the same type of strict timing as Lion's catch throw to [P][P][P])

[3][K]+[G] [Hold[K]+[G]] and [2][P]+[K][K] [Hold[K]] - same as the Evo moves, except that you can go into backturned Jumonji.

[Jumonji Run] [3][K]+[G][P]+[G] - Jumonji sliding to hit throw. Sliding doesn't come out that fast, but it hits low. Seems to be high throw counterable on guard (maybe even elbow or hit counterable). You automatically get out of Jumonji stance after the move. Doesn't knock down on counter hit, but you can go into the hit throw. It's hard to describe the motion of the hit throw in words, but it looks like after the slide kick hits, Kage does a leg trip takedown with his legs and then proceed to toss the opponent into the air with his legs. Hit throw can be done in both normal and counter hit. Total damage around 40. After the move, he does the same pose as after his [4][2][P]+[G] wall throw. Someone mentioned that it's the same move as Rakuseru's "Vulcan Death Grip" from Fighting Viper 2.

[Backturned Jumonji] [P] - Swaps command with "ura ate" (which is now backturned [P]+[K]). Can follow with moves like [Jumonji] [P][K].

[Backturned Jumonji] [P]+[G] - Leaves Jumonji automatically afterwards. Can follow with [P] (Sounds the same as the regular [backturned][P]+[G] and [backturned][P]+[G][P])

    Re: NEW FINAL TUNED INFOR

    Changes for old moves:

[6][P] - Basically the same. Maybe moves forward a bit more. Subtle changes to the motion as well. Abusable as before.

[6][4][K] - Basically saying how it's been removed?

[6][P]+[K] - Loses the ability to subtract drinks from Shun. But [6][P]+[K][P]+[K] can still subtract 1drink, regardless of whether you delay it or not.

[6][3][2][1][4][P]+[G] - Move is basically unchanged, except the new input (from 3/4 circle).

[Jumonji Run] [K] - Slight change in animation. Now it's the same kick as the last kick of [6][2][3][P]+[K][K] and [6][2][3][P]+[K][P][K][K]. You can still cancel into this kick from [Jumonji][P][K].

[Backturned] [8][K] - Change in animation. Used to be backflip kick with the knees, now it's more like backflip with the two legs alternating, swinging downward. Basic stats seems to be unchanged.

[Backturned Jumonji] [P]+[K] - New motion for "ura ate" Still causes stomach crumble against standing opponent on normal and counter hit, but causes stagger instead in crouching opponent.

    New Combos:
TFT -> [2][P]+[K] -> [6][2][3][P]+[K][P][K][K] - Seems like if you insert a [P] after [2][P]+[K], you can miss the rest of the combo (not sure if this differs by character).

[6][P]+[G] -> [6][2][3][P]+[K][P][K][K] - Confirmed in Goh and Lau that whole string will hit once the first hit lands in the back.

[4][6][K] (new knee) -> [4][6][K] - Simple combo. Use this when it's hard to land other moves due to the subtle differences in the distances that can occur during a counter hit.

    [4][6][K] (new knee) -> [3][K]+[G] - Basically same as from [Jumonji] [P]+[K].

[4][6][K] [Hold [K]] (Evo circular kick) -> [Backturned Jumonji] [P][K][K] - Use this combo when you land a counter hit. The juggle part might be a bit hard to connect.

[4][6][K] [Hold [K]] (Evo circular kick) -> [Backturned Jumonji] [P][K][Hold [K]] -> [6][2][3][P]+[K] - Use this combo when you land a counter hit. Confirmed with Goh. Might be a bit hard since you have to hold buttons twice.

    Hey guess what Shun players!

Shun only gets 2 drink points now when he drinks sitting/lying down!

After Jeff's [4]+[P]+[G], you can input [8], [6], or [2] to throw them to your front/left/right.

    Thank you that is all.

Are you kidding? The fact that Shun can drink between rounds, imo, was completely retarded. Minus one DP will make little difference anyway.

Hmm, I like the new looks for most of the stages. Lion's (especially Lion's), Jeff's, and Akira's in particular. They changed the look of the walls in Akira's stage (check out the New System - challenge mode section for good screens of it). Vane's looks a bit better but Shun's stage still looks the same. Why does Am2 always make those two look like crap?

    /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif no more drinks?? crap.

however i'm somewhat tempted to take this as possible good news because if shun can't get more then a mere 4 drinks at the end of a round now, they've hopefully provided him with some reliable way to get drinks during the match other then the usual [P]+[G] method. (his only really reliable method of getting dps alongside his 270).

i was somewhat confused on why they did this for sitting down as well because thats a one time only thing and he has horrendous recovery after he drinks in sitting down. however its probably done that way so that you can't just attempt the easier method of drink, sitdown drink to get the 4 drinks even in the '6 dps' scenarios, rather then the slightly tougher lying down and drinking twice method.

of course i could be wrong about this whole thing and shun just can't get more drinks period now, which would be really harsh imo since he'll have to work extra hard to get access to his important moves now. after reading about some of those kage tweaks that sounds a little unfair although no judgements till more info is available.

nice to hear about the tweak to jeffs [4]+[P]+[G] as well. this new ability alone should make this throw a lot more useful near walls and for ringouts /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Shun and Vane's stages, i don't know why Sega gives them no love either. Despite the fact that none of the stages were what i expected (except Lau's, which was exactly what i expected) I think most of them look alright. Aoi's stage is very nice now, even if it isn't as cool as my idea for the nighttime snowscape.

the shun news is totally bullshit, esp considering that characters like akira can take AWAY 5 drinks after the round.

Why not level the field and make DPs static? Can't add or remove once a round is over. Easy solution.

    Re: NEW FINAL TUNED INFOR

It also says Shun's [6][P]+[K] gets 4 drinks now. It seems Sega wants us to use this move more often. But it doesn't compensate the loss imo, since [6][P]+[K] is a shit move tbh.

I'm so pissed off by this. I'm already having some problem keeping a higher DP in evo against Kage, who has some very good sobering moves([3][P], [6][P]+[K], [9][P]+[G]). So why don't they just remove [K][K][2][P][K] in FT, since it's almost impossible to reach 16 DPs in a five round match?

    Re: NEW FINAL TUNED INFOR

No, for the fact that Shun needs DP to unlock moves, including throws, sabakie, etc...and the fact that it is relatively easy for any decent player to sober shun up...it makes perfect sense he can drink between rounds...it helps to keep shun competitive.
