New Evo Movie clips

yeah lau's got a new move, I think it's P+K with your back turned, he shoves into you with his back/shoulder. Knocks down, I think it hits mid but I'm not positive.

Also, Lau's back/shoulder attack thing is mid.

I'm not as anti-Lau as I used to be, as he is a bit more versatile now, and they've weakened him down a bit. is now throw-counterable, which is should've been since Ver. A. He still floats a bit too easy IMHO.

 

Are there alot of clips of Goh Hinogami around the web?

Thank you alot creed /versus/images/icons/wink.gif, but i've seen those 2(got em in my virtua fighter file on my HD /versus/images/icons/laugh.gif). I guess maybe since he is a new character people are more reluctant to use him. Thats also probably the reason you don't see any movies of Brad. Maybe the days/weeks/months to come Goh will pop up in movies more often. Until then, those 2 movies i got will be on repeat, heh.

 

There's a lot of people wondering what's up with the shortage of brad.

There also seems to be a lack of jeffry, and jeffry is not weak or unpopular, so I dunno why that would be. I've seen several wolf clips (well, it's kcat) but I've seen a very strong player being quoted as saying wolf is so crappy, that he's below bottom tier.

 

More movies, tantalizingly not there.

and there are a bunch of clips that only lasted a short time before disappearing?! Cafeglobe chokes hard on the text, so I can't see what it says except that VFzone.com is quoted. I can't spot anything new on vfzone.com, yet. Can anyone translate or hunt down direct links to these clips? Are they still being uploaded?

There's not a ton of Brad players out there. He's basically a mix of Vanessa & Jacky.

He's not weak by any stretch... just seems really drab to me, and I'm assuming the general VF public. There are plenty of Goh players, just not near as many as with everyone's previous characters.

There's always been a shortage of Jeffry, and I don't know why. Mabye b/c people that go for heavy-weights are really into pro-wrestling... just an idea, as pro-wrestling is pretty popular in Japan. Also, Jeffry's really never had much of a diverse arsenal, which has always made me find him a bit boring. He's definitely got more in Evo though, so perhaps we'll see more in the future.

 

So Brad's arsenal is pretty much made up of spare parts? Ain't that some shit? A total waste of space. AM2 was being lazy, heh. I didn't care for the way his moves or his design looked anyway. Goh is the token new guy for now anyway.

 

I wouldn't say totally, but the 'feel' is just a mixture of Jacky and Vanessa. His Elbow is like Vanessa's old one.
I can't recall his evasive attack right now, but Goh's is exactly like Jacky's & Vanessa's, oddly enough.

 

Jeffry has a lot of stuff, but the way he's played is very basic. You can essentially not play Jeffry for months, pick him up one day, and still win.

 

Yeah, I've tried him once or twice when I friend had to take a leak. Seemed like he was pretty easily used, and quite effective.

While I'm still not interested in his fighting style in the least, I like his new items. His lines are still awful... actually heard a funny story about what happened, and that there were actually some foreigners on the staff, but were of course helpless in the face of Japanese management.

The way in which Pai threw Sarah in the 2nd round of hiro_jun2 is awesome. Look like Pai had been spiced up in Evo.

Anyone else notice it wasn't until halfway through the 2nd round until the guy playing Lau:

1: tried something other than a punch, elbow, or throw
2: Actually got 2 or more consecutive hits
3: Did any type of decent damage

And people wonder why I'm always saying Lau is boring.

 

OH WOW!! /versus/images/icons/shocked.gif Pai is definitely an amazing character to watch now. I can't tell if those are standing throws or inashis or both!! But that's gotta make someone stop in their tracks and hold guard. Pai is amazing!! /versus/images/icons/laugh.gif

 

This movie was really nice!!
Anyway seems Pai is concentrating on throws that stumble or pushes the opponent. It really suits her style!

Anyway she seems a little more vocal too saying 'amai' when she uses her low throw.

Her new winpose is stylish too!

Ninjinsan: I believe these moves we saw are all throws, I know that she got 3 new throws/new animations for old throws, and 2 new low throws.

 

At the 11th of June Evo footage I've seen new win
poses performed by Akira,Sarah,Shun,Lion,Kage.
Now I have only seen one performed by Akira
at the nagato vs kyasao video and again he is

On the VF4 ver.A intro the characters were wearing
1P costumes.On ver.B intro were wearing 2P costumes.
At the Evo intros again they are wearing 1P costumes.
So that means that there is a Evo ver.B coming up
with new intros.But when?When?When?
