    Are you sure of this? It looked to me as if he was going to go for one of the brad kicks/knees to punish recoverers - a nasty guessing game trick that follows up this particular throw.

    100% positive. The reversal animation was that of a mid punch (ducking [P]). Nothing special. Why would you think otherwise?

    Yeah, it's a nasty guessing game after the Quick Rise, but it always is no matter which characters are being played. Anybody with a mid punch reversal/inashi/hold could have done the same to Brad in that situation.

    On the Daioh clip, what was clinging on Lei-Fei's right leg on 1P costume? /versus/images/icons/ooo.gif

    Oh and that is the best costume on Sarah in the first 2 fights. I ususally dislike short hair but it works. I hate to compare the 2 but she looks more like Nina Williams than Nina herself. heh heh /versus/images/icons/tongue.gif

    What codec is used on the korean clips? No video for me. /versus/images/icons/frown.gif Latest divx? /versus/images/icons/confused.gif

    A curious thing, in that clip and others everyone used QR and willingly subjected themselves to the damn knee, it seems like it hits OTB or staggers you, you're screwed if you QR no matter what. But the players always did that rather than TR. Why not just TR? I know brad has that mid crescent but it's not that fast is it? Is it or something else a surefire punishment to TR?

    just for those who are interested in knowing,
    the lei player is heruru (intro taunt last I checked = dancing lei haha~, didn't get a chance to see it in this clip though)

    it's his personal style...

    even against mukki n co..he dances all over the screen~

    Nobody TRs for the same reason you don't TR after any head toward face down knockdown -- you'll get back staggered.

    If you don't do anything you'll eat the OTB Knee for major damage.

    If you QR you can avoid the OTB hit and then you have to guess between guarding high and low, just like in any QR situation.

    As a Brad player, after landing this throw I always watch what my opponent does: QR, TR or nothing (usually by mistake), and then react accordingly.

    Nothing is ever guaranteed for Brad in this situation. It's just a guessing game for him to force on the opponent and that is all.

    Kage's skeleton mask in daioh_ero021130_2.wmv is very cool looking. I've heard of a player named skeleton kage, would that happen to be him? Cause that would make it even cooler! BTW hes the first person I've seen with in a video with all 7 orbs, does that mean hes already gatherd several sets? Or do you just get 1 set in evo? And yes, that Lei Fei player is awesome

    did you guys see the last round of the Brad vs Aoi match? Brad did a back dodge K (MC) and the lightning elbow "looks" confirmed after that. Is that true??

    I had noticed that... that was the sidekick that causes heavy hitstun and usually goes into a throw right? But this brad did the lightning elbow combo. That'd mean the sidekick gives +14 or +13 eh? That's pretty mean. Someone should test dash-throw after that, see if it works like vanessa's b+P -> throw.
