    Oh great...a new link and more EVO updates

    I recently ran across a nice little website. Here's the URL:

    I'm guessing that this one has been around for awhile, because there are a lot of dead links dated from as early as May. It seems that most of these are from Amusement ACT, so there's a chance that they've already been seen before.

    If you can get past the opening music intro /versus/images/icons/tongue.gif , there's a new clip update, featuring an Akira/Brad matchup. Nice action from the Akira player, though there's nothing new. There are a few damaging combos from the Brad player. Here's the URL in case you're lazy:

    I wonder what kind of punishment Brad has for QRers after his Knee Throw? We saw a backstagger after TRing before, and now we see a knee to a pounce for those who chose to stay down after the throw.

    Seems to be a highly rewarding throw, and I think players will try to escape that one first, which makes likelyhood of other throws of him connecting bigger. For some reason I remembered Kage's TFT throw, since some people would want to avoid being thrown by that like the plaque, only to be punsihed by his other strong throws like his [4][2][G]+[P], [3][G]+[P], etc... /versus/images/icons/smile.gif There is always DTE and TTE though...

    EDIT: What am I saying? Brad also did punish a QRing Akira in the same match... With a knee too? or maybe Akira just crouched after QRing?

    With the certain items, you can make Brad even more horribly, flamingly gay. (As if the voice and taunts weren't bad enough.)

    Seriously, with the correct item combination, he looks EXACTLY like the gay guy off the "Homer's Phobia" episode of The Simpsons. XD

    Akira starts out slow at first, attempting what I'm guessing is a few failed linneys (which results in him eating a few of Jacky's throws). However, he makes an excellent comeback in round 3 and shows off some excellent throw defense in the later rounds.

    During a QR, one must guess between a high guard and low guard. In this case, probably fearing another throw, Akira chose to low guard which resulted in him eating the knee for a stumble.

    Is anyone else having a problem with downloading movies from TBZone's website? The download is sooooooooooo slow. After waiting several hours, I've had to stop the download. And it's usually at about 25-30% complete. /versus/images/icons/confused.gif

    ghost... yeah it's been like that for me too. I think they get raped just after the release of the new flicks, and then as the furor dies down the download goes smoothly. Still, intentionally or not, they use a crappy download system that only allows a single connection without the ability to resume the download if it breaks.
