    Hey Rodnutz,

That Lil Waah cat doesn't sound bad in that "Showtime" video. I've never been much of a Ruff Ryders fan but I'll give their upcoming album a listen when it drops.

Thanks man! I can't say I'm much of a Ruff Ryder fan myself. I'm just showing Lil Waah some love since I am dating his mom lol. Although his dad is in the business the choice to perform is all Lil Waah and for now he really wants to be a performer. He is a great kid man and I have known him since he has been in diapers. He has always been a performer and loves making people happy.

Even if you don't pick up their upcoming album at least pick up the compilation that Lil Waah will be on. I'm not sure what they are planning to call it just yet, but I'll do my best to let you know. It will make his mom happy (greatest fan of course) which in turn will make me happy. [IMG]

Some Tom Waits. Try not to be put off by his voice, it takes some getting used to, but I think it's actually quite beautiful.

I haven't really delved into his later, more experimental stuff yet, I hear there's lots of gems in there as well.

^RoxXxan, girl version of Wiley hahahaha.

I do miss grime from time to time. Has it gone back to actually being grimey or are the beats really produced and have a lot of common radio like choruses now?

I can't stop listening to the first 5 tracks off the Drive soundtrack after having seen it. Kind of a modern take of 80s synth pop and I love it.

On a totally different vibe heres another band a really like.i can't really categorise it in any musical style. Im putting 2 links to 2 songs so you can see how this band differs in style in all of their songs.

Dog Fasion Disco ( Moonlight city drive )
Dog Fasion Disco ( Desert Grave)

And heres an extra! Some clip of Gene Kelly and Donald O Connor in the musical comedy: Singing in the rain.

Haha yeah Roxxxan can definately pass for the girl version of wiley (obviously not looks wise haha). Well I think it depends on the artists, because the ones that have gone mainstream are not as 'grimey' while the underground ones are still very much 'grimey'.

This is a glitched version from the game. It just sometimes pops out on the first level. It sounds awesome, anyway.

The best thing about listening to that track was seeing your avatar bounce up and down with it.

To bring you in on the fun, you're invited to check out this sampler of 20 bands to watch in the coming years. All the songs have been handpicked by the minds behind World Cafe, who seem to have a knack for predicting who will make it big. World Cafe Next alumni include Fleet Foxes, St. Vincent, Dawes and Peter Bjorn & John, who have put out some of the best and most exciting albums of 2011.
