These guys are really good gotta say, downloaded their yes! album and its beast!

 

While the tune is enjoyable i think naming this cover "gothic metal" is a minsomer - this sounds like 80s power metal, like Malmsteen or Rage. That said the entire Judgement soundtrack is awesome (don't have a clue about the game though, lol, just found the stage rips on some fansite ).

..i looked around to find a version that really sounded "gothic" and i run into this rap version featuring 2pac lyrics. And a prince of bel air version. Then i found this rap version. Then i realized there are a bazillion remixes of this song. I even found a bonk version. I sort of lost track from there Apparently all it takes is bleeps bloops and some square buttons To be fair though, Konami has remixed the hell out of the song themselves, 14 times apparently so it's only fair i guess. Make that 16.

This might be a more reasonable candidate though, it has a piano bridge and an interplay between 2 guitars when the bridge ends @2:42.

BTW there's a bunch of other songs named "Bloody Tears", not linked to the videogame, run across one that's also quite metal indeed.

PS: i've stopped to eat lunch and now i'm discovering even more different covers of this song. And i thought puzzle bobble remixes were popular. I'll probably give up when the edit timer locks me out of this post. Here's another weird one. And another that's far out.
