More about VF5 online

If there are issues with the game online, Microsoft won't do shit about it.

 

microsoft would try there best though get VF5 to play online. unlike sony. not only that but microsoft will also improve the how the game plays online over time. where if you played VF5 online on PS3 that would be it. no updates, patches nothing.

i think someone owns a PS3 and is feeling a little jaded. jk ive played the PS3 online and xbox 360 have you? its is a big diffrence. games do play better online for the 360. do you have xbox live?

like i said though when all is said and done the PS3 might end up having the better library like the PS2. xbox had the better online service and still does. believe me it makes a difference.

how about the darkness and madden football games. those games play better online on the 360. how is it assumption that microsofts online service is better than sonys?

microsofts online service is better than sonys. im not bashing the PS3. im just saying i think VF5 would play better online for the 360 compared to the PS3. DOA4 has got patches. most big name games that play online for the 360 gets pathces.

im sure there are other people who have played both the PS3 and the 360 online. i bet they can also tell you how much more better the online experience on the 360. people dont get so mad im not ripping on the PS3.

im just stating why sega might have made VF5 online for the 360 and not the PS3.

 

i know that DOA4 isnt on PS3 but it is a game that has gotten patched. i just used it as an example. ive played madden and yes it runs alot better on the 360. same for the darkness.

like i said i think it will be a little trickier to get VF5 to work online compared to tekken 5. does everyone think tekken 5 and VF5 are the same game? tekken 5 might work on the PS3 but maybe VF5 wouldnt play to well online on the PS3.

then maybe sega figured online play would work best on the 360.

 

the darkness and madden play the same offline on the 360 and PS3. where they play different is online where the 360 has the advantage. imo xbox live has the better online experience.

 

I think it shows how far some devs are behind... Of course VF5 PS3 can go online, will it ? I doubt it very much so...

I think VF5 has a strong possibility of going online for PS3. Look at Tekken: DR. Its available for online play now in Japan. The only reason its not online now and why its taking so long to come out with for the 360 is because they are probably working out the kinks. The xbox release will be 9 months later than the PS3 release. If it sells well (which it should), it would probably provide enough funding to get PS3 VF5 online, or perhaps just skip to PS3 VF5 Evo....


The best will be when they can come up with a common system so 360 can play vs. PS3 online. Yea yea yea... a pipe dream now...

I'm excited. I haven't played VF since the late 90's because of the crap community.

I for one don't want the PS3 game patched. You guys have to stop being selfish and think of me! -I need your scrubby little talent in one place.

Me personally I DONT want the PS3 version to ever be online. If they made a Patch to the PS3 version, they would also have to patch the game save portion of the game as well. Those inds of updates usually lead to a memory wipe, IE good bye save chars.

Now 420 using DOA 4 as an example of M$ofts stellar online service REALLY doesnt help your cause here. DOA4 has been patched sure, but it still has all the lag issues it EVER had)PEOPLE join causing lag) Lag at start up, and theres a bug disgruntle players can input that can FREEZE an online DOA4 lobby permanently with a blac screen, forcing you to abort. There:s a reason ALOT of the community )yourself included) was against VF5 online, the *stand by button *cheaters and modders, besides just the lag.

No matter how good Xbox live is or you CLAIM it is all the updates in the world have done NOTHING to stop the stand by button modem cheaters. I've been playing on Xbox live since 2004, and the same problems exist, BAG lag on EAST COAST versus west coast

SEGA and KATOAKA @AM2 didnt leave ONLINE PLAY out of PS3 VF5 because "SONY ONLINE SERVICE SUXORS" like you claim, the real reason is they didnt want two players playing for a master level promotion match, and at the last second of thelast round, Player two glitches and tombstone piledrives player one into a palm tree. Oer some glitching n00b finds a way to enhance the giant swing to the point Wolf can toss you into the mountains in the background. I also dont buy that Sega doesnt have the money to support online service. They can use the servers they used to fantasy star online, or their old 2k sports severs or their FULL AUTO PS3 servers. Its not like anybody actually plays full auto anymore. And Ps3 MADDEN is inferior as a WHOLE, its a bad port, its not just the online portion, so your example is invalid.

 

Unless you used to play at the now defunct Broadway Arcade probably not. If you see that Paki Adam, tell him what up.
