I don't know how the VF5 arcades work, but isn't this just an arcade release considering the evolution link links you to an arcade machine.
Didn't this happen with VF4 arcades aswell?

Summer 2k7 is the release date for VF5:Evolution. Took me a while to translate. I think July 12.

If you translated that right, that means it will be exactly a year after the original was released, don't see why people are saying its too soon.

Oh yeah, so gald I bought a PS3,you know theyt aregoing to get it first,and Xb360 will be stuckwith version 1. Love it. Now ifv they just up the home versions difficulty to Vf4 evos levels or higher Id be set. Oh and damn Cla RenoOwned you. Dave Chappelle should do a skit on that and call it "When being a know-it -al goes wrong".

No it is not, the arcade board is PC based not PS3 based.

im sorry homie but that throw is definitely worth keeping... for starters, if close enough to the ring, one could ringout with that throw on low fence stages and stages with no fence... if near a high fence, one could easily pull off a /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif and finish the combo to one's liking... even the japanese had a video displaying how dope /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif is...

I won't hold my breath waiting for VF5:Evo for home consoles; if it's coming out in July this year for arcades, I have a feeling this won't be out for Xbox 360/PS3 until January 2009 or later.

The best case scenario is that they release some kind of upgrade/downloadable expansion for VF5 that you can buy off the Xbox marketplace/PSN. That way, you can still use your characters from VF5 and retain all your stats/settings.

This thread was created in April of last year, with speculation of EVO coming in July 2007. Personally, I think Japan is getting Ver.D in the next few months while VF5 EVO will be released in the last quarter of 2008.
