Can't really be bothered with VF anymore. Don't even touch it so its not worth travelling to play it. Looks like I'll be staying off VF till Final Tune comes along.

I'd be interested but I work saturday sunday and won't be having any days off until roughly october.

The whole moving thing is pretty taking up most of my attention for the forseeable future anyways.

I'm interested as well. My exams will all finish in a couple of weeks and after that I should have plenty of free time.

is everyone available-ish on saturday afternoons?

I'm moving to monday-friday shift at work soon, so my saturdays will be spare...just wondering if anyone would be interested in having a gathering or not on a saturday some time next month.

my shitty little flat isn't as cramped as it used to be.

I should be alright with it as well. I'll just have to do a swap at work. (If I'm still there by then)

If you're holding this next month I'm guaranteed to be in Edinburgh for the weekend of May 20th. I'm staying at a mates for two nights so would be available to play all day Saturday till 8pm or so.

I've been playing more VF lately than I ever did in Edinburgh, mainly due to the comp. from my brothers. I think I'm a little better than I was so I'd be interested in playing you fellas again sometime.

Ok guys, for those of you who are interested in coming down here for a meeting, I am in the process of sorting it out, but I think it will be on the weekend starting the 28th (Sat). Does this sound ok?

It's only a week from now on, maybe the time is a little tight. BTW how far is your new home from Edinburgh? How many hours would it take by trains?

Yeah, 28th of may was the idea......

Ryan sod moving, just sell all your stuff and use the money to travel for VF!

So who thinks they will be able to make it on the 28th OF MAY!?

Ok, so far I have got Ade and Kain as a definite, and I think that Dan might come up. Ade has improved much since you last played him, and I am not as good as I was, as I am still trying to familiarise myself with my stick. Dan will most probably wipe the floor with you, he is as good as me and Andy were/are at our best, so I think he will be a good person for you to play. If Li and Graeme are willing to come down again like before, then I think it will be a decent meeting, and if Ryan, Anthony or/and Steven can make it, then it will be an added bonus.

Re: The VF bug apparently does die easily.... if you're gay.

I'd actually be quite into a wee VF trip given my renewed interest in the game. Only problem is I have no idea how to travel cheaply and conveniently to Darwin.

What's the nearest big city? Is it Preston or Leeds?

For some reason getting to the north of England from Scotland is a major problem. Hardly any cheap flights of quick rail connections.

Ok, the nearest 'city' is Blackburn, if that isn't big enough, then the next nearest is Bolton, then Preston. I don't know if you will be able to get to any of the from Scotland, and I don't know if there are any trains from Preston or Bolton to Darwen. (There is definitely a train from Blackburn to Darwen though.) If all of these are a problem, then just get a train to Manchester Victoria, because there is definitely a train to Darwen from there, (I rode it last weekend!).
Steven, it's good to hear that you want to come, and I'm glad you have renewed your interest in the game too!

KS, I don't mean to sound ignorant or offensive, but I don't really know who you are. Don't worry though, you are more than welcome to attend any gatherings that I organise. The meeting is on the 28th of May, but if you can't make it, then I will organise another one soon after that, I'm sure that people will want another meeting after this one.

28 May should be fine. But I can't confirm it until later. Is Blackburn farther than Leeds? Too lazy to check the map /versus/images/graemlins/blush.gif
