T5 isn't out here till october I believe. We all have US copies.

I'm surprised you guys haven't got anything together in Edinburgh. I think I was at the last gathering and I've been in the highlands for over four months now!

I still visit friends in Edinburgh every couple of weekends so if something comes up I might be able to make it. Perhaps in the future, when VF5 is a reality on some home console, we can have some regional representation here in Scotland.

If anything like that ever materialised you'd be more than welcome to come up here for a big session. I can at least get my bros to play and represent the far north!

Ha ha...yes we do, but unfortunately no streets called Salamander. We're a few decades away from that exhuberent level of 'civilisation'.

Exactly man, and with a sheep you can be fairly certain of its sexual orientation, unlike some Edinburgh folk.

Seriously man, when you come I can get a nice black ram ready, just for you. I can even deck it out in leather so it reminds you of Jacky.

    anthony,

do you use a USB charger for your PSP? if so, is it any good?

I'm really fighting the urge to buy a psp at the moment, but i'm ready to cave in.

Nah, just use an old PS2 cable with the charger. Don't really see the point of a USB charger as I don't have my computer on all the time unless I charge it at work or something. The battery isn't THAT bad. Think now would be a good time to get one as the prices would be lower. Was gonna get Metal Gear Acid but don't think I'll enjoy it being a card based game.

have you read the ntsc-uk review? I thought it sounded interesting myself...I'm going to get a jp psp I think...play-asia bundle the usb chargers in for nothing. I just know when I buy one, the price will drop, or they'll bring out funky colours.

The review that was written by someone who didn't understand card games? :p Put me off it actually.

The only other decent colour that'll go with the PSP would probably be that limited edition Ipod white. Don't know what other 'funky colours' you have in mind.

Lumines is really fun and addictive. I'm still playing it and I've had it since the Japanese launch. probably. You might have some difficulty with the colours though but I haven't come across any red green or blue yellow skins. You'll enjoy the music at least!

Acid? what console is that on, coz a card based system sounds decent to me. I like the yu-gi-oh games, so if there is any similarity then it should prove to be an interesting game.

Ok guys. I have moved to Darwen with my Nan, (it's near Blackburn). I can now accommodate you people if you want to come down some time and have a session. I have two single beds free, and there is plenty of floor space as well. I can have two setups running, and I have 4 PERFECT height tables to rest the sticks on. All in all it would be a very comfortable meeting, and I want to try out my stick skills against you all.
I work Mon-Fri, (finishing on Fri at 5) so you could come down on Friday night or Saturday morning and stay right the way through till Sunday night/Monday morning if you want.
I really want some of you guys to come down, anyone interested?
I don't have a particular date in mind, so any preferences are welcome....

I'm interested. I just don't think anyone else is, though I'm loathe to speak for other people. Still it's nice to see the enthusiasm returning round your way.
