Fair enough. Must disagree with your taste in design however. The Namco stick is very nice I think - you must be smoking something if you think it looks 'old'.

Well it was about as appropriate as you requesting joystick advice on the Scottish jamboree thread. Don't come asking advice in future if you're going to spit sarcasm when someone's trying to be helpful.

whoa whoa whoa, relax. I ain't getting pissy or anything, I just ment that you could probably have shrunk the picture down a bit, what with you knowing loads about computers and all.
I didn't mean any offense man.
As for asking advice, I don't really know many people, so I thought I would ask the few people that I do know, plus, I wouldn't know which forum to use, I'm not particularly good with sites.
really, I didn't mean to offend you man........... /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Aah, the beatiful Namco Stick. Mine is resting in heaven now, but if I ever seen another going cheap, I'm grabbing it, I know I've got a RAP, but this stick is still 'the mofo' and the next best stick after the RAP IMHO. It's a shame finding one nowaday's is like golddust!

I'm calm man...we're not fighting or anything. I just thought his remarks were somewhat sarcastic....so I told him so. He can dish out strong remarks and so can I.

I understand that showing emotion in public or "loosing one's face" is a big deal in China...but seriously, in the UK it's fairly normal.

I remember how in Vietnam if you showed frustration or temper in public people would turn away and not help. I'm thinking it's similar in China.

That's great. Where did you get it from? How much does it cost(with shipping, tax etc.)? I myself is planning on getting a new stick...

Re: The VF bug doesn't die easily

I got it from Play-Asia. It cost £75 including shipped (the stick it's self cost about half that).
I hope that it is good, and that it doesn't mess my game up by using something other than a pad. After I have used it for a while, I will let you know what I think, though I haven't used any other sticks, so I have nothing to compare it to............

    MY STICK IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I WANT TO MAKE LOVE TO IT!

seriously, everyone who recommended it has my thanks. (I haven't actually used it yet, but it looks and feels so good that there is no way that this isn't the best thing ever).

Anyone still alive here? /versus/images/graemlins/ooo.gif Think we should at least post a bit unless everyone is too held up with their social lives. Been playing Tekken 5 but not really getting into it due to the lack of proper human opponents. Wish they had spent some time doing the training mode just so that they can show you the system and how everything works. .

I'm in agreement with your tekken 5 training mode comments. But alas, I think deep down we've just been spoilt by the excellent training mode in VF. Not been playing a great deal else...do you have minna no golf for your psp?

I haven't touched t5 ina little while but I got fairly into it and would be interested in playing it on a more regular basis.

I know it's a fair way off but I'm moving around the end of may and will have a lot more room and will be able to host fairly comfortably if something can be arranged on my days off.

Nah, didn't get that golf game. Not really my type of thing. Only got Lumines and Ridge Racer at the moment. Mainly using it as a media player and showing off to people. So you got a PSP then?

nah, I was tempted by minna no golf though...big fan of the series. Don't know if it's quite enough to make me go and import a psp.

Nah decided against westburn, the place was too small.

I've kind of come to the realisation i suck balls at 2d. Missing vf a lot but I think evo is totally done for me now. T5 is a lot more fun than i expected though.

I managed to finish re4 today. Really enjoyed it from start to finish.
