Anyway, just want to know if any of you would be interested in coming to my house for a change. Got Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings free till about 4PM. Not a lot of time but feel that I should contribute a little bit myself.

well im free monday and tuesday as far as i know and could certianly use the practice pre-london.

I think graeme is "on holiday" but he might be busy finishing moving shit.

We can all play at yours or here in the ghetto either is fine for me.

Got txt from Graeme today saying that he 'thinks' he'll be able to make it. I'll txt him again tomorrow to see if he is certain. So where about in town you want to meet? I'm quite flexible myself, just nowhere stupid or anything.

Just to let you guys know that I won't be around for VFing for about a week. Went to doctors today and they wanted me to stay at the wards to stabilise my eczema. Which means that I will be cut off from the net. So if anything big happens e.g. LA Amusements getting Final Tuned, come and drag me along. Can txt me as well as I'll be very very bored.

Passed that place on the way to UGC last week. Had a peek in just to confirm it's still the same shit-hole with exactly the same machines as three years ago. To think this is the same aracde I sepnd a considerable portion of my free time at as a student. Of course, that was back when they changed games now and then,

I really think the arcade industry needs a boot in the arse if it's going to survive. I don't care what the nay-sayers think, the ONLY thing that'll bring people back is by investing money is high-end architecture again and dispensing with all this cheap console/arcade tie-in shite. Why the fuck is anyone going to bother playing an identical game at the aracde when they've go a machine at home that can play it?

I mean, would anyone want to go to the cinema to watch Spiderman 2 on a 28 inch Sony vega? No...cinemas still prosper because they have that wow appeal. A huge fuck-off screen and massive sounds systems is what takes me to the cinema - the experience is just better than watching at home. Aracdes need to adopt this same philosophy I think.
