never played the old ones, so i will probably sit those ones out. the only other two player games i play are tekken, DBZ and Kengo. i never really liked two player games, so i never played them. the only old two player games that i used to play are Streets of Rage and Fatal Fury!
(Although i did like that beat em up that i played at Ryans, they all had weapons and you could kick them off of the top of buildings and through windows!)

hey, i could bring bust a move!

on an unrelated note; when i click the link to a particular thread (like this one) and it is a godzillion pages long, is there a quicker way of getting to the last page, without having to click on the 'next' arrow, over and over again?

hey guys, i played 'Iron Mike' on friday, and i whooped him silly.
the guy is good, he uses Akira and he can do the SPoD, every time, and he uses it alot.
i think that Ryan and Li could hold their own against him, i would class him as just below you guys.
he recons that i could beat most of the people in London, and he thinks that i would be serious competition for Ryan Hart!
    how cool is that.
he told me that he has beat DeLune before, and that he didn't find it that hard to beat him, so i want a shot at DeLune.
i asked him if he wanted to come up to play you guys the next time we meet, and he seemed pretty keen, so you might have some more competition the next time around.
looking forward to our meeting this weekend, hope you guys are as good as before. (although i i wish Li wasn't quite as good as he is, damn Shun!)

Well I've been practicing the past couple weeks to try and shake the rust off so hopefully I shouldn't get too savaged on saturday. And going by today, Li seems in good form.

    Glad you did well. Attaboy!

Nice one Shaun. I agree, you could definately handle the competition down in London.

It's been a long wait but only a week left till this gathering. Looking forward to it myself and have even managed a little practice here and there.

I don't suppose there's anything that needs organising this time as the arrangements seem pretty much indentical to last time. The only thing we definately need is an extra PS2 and Evo, anything else is just optional for a wee break from Evo (although I'm still keen for a little VF3tb....).

So when does everyone plan on showing up?

    Re: Edinburgh

I'll be there as well and I can supply some of the stuff if required. Haven't played any VF at all for a long time but will get some in this week just to be safe. Will Graeme be able to make it?

Cool beans. I'm bringing my dc stick and ill try and fit my evo stick in the bag too, i presume andy and shaun will bring their own pads. So if Li brings his stick and graeme brings one of his we should be all set.

    Re: Edinburgh

Cheers for offering to bring another PS2 Anthony. I remember Li also offering to bring his a few posts back. I'm obviously not fussed who's unit we end up using but it would be good to confirm that the person bringing the extra PS2 will be arriving at the start of the gathering. That way we're not stuck with one set-up until the other person arrives.

Faded, if it's a real bother bringing the DC stick don't worry about it. Was just an idea for a bit of a laugh, and I'm sure there'll be plenty of other games to play when we take a break.

Nah I'd actually really like to play some vf3 if possible as the last time I had a proper go was the first time I came up to yours those many moons ago.

I was able to fit my ps2 and stick in my bag last time so just two sticks should be peachy.

I will be bringing my ps2 too. Also I will meet up with Ryan and Elite brothers in the train station so we will have two ps2s from the beginning.

i don't remember myself what the time that i arrive will be, but if you just look for the post on the previous pages, it should be there.
    remember we change at York!

So I guess my PS2 isn't wanted then. What time will you people start playing? I'll bring a few games along just incase we run dry.
