Dude, women complicate things, you don't need one, just forget about her.

Stick with Sarah and Vanessa, the only bitches you need.

Did you tell her you're a game hunter? /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Stephen - sorry you couldn't make it man, work and VF don't mix it seems /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif (since we're the only 2 that actually have jobs round here /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif)

-also, is it just me or ntsc-uk a bit fucked at the moment?

Wish Sega would hurry up and release some more Final Tuned details. It's always an annoying time just before a new VF release.

Perhaps we peeps should plan a Tokyo visit to coinside with its release?!! I've been promising myself a trip to Tokyo for years and years but never seem to get the cash together.

Obviously cost might be a tiny problem.......

Btw, I'll be hosting a VF gathering end of the month in our bigger flat. I'll post dates and times in a week or two.

That would be cool, where are you living now anyways?

    As for tokyo, if only...

Li - see you half 2 on sat

Anthony - You're welcome to come as well if you're not doing anything.

Wasn't really a serious suggestion, but you must admit it'd be absolutely wicked. No doubt your natural "game hunter" instincts would awaken in the presence of Akiahara district.

Faded, looks like we'll be renting a place on Bellevue Crescent. Fairly reasonable rent for a really big flat. We'd buy a wee place if it wasn't for all the sassenach "yahs" selling their Chelsea flats and pushing Edinburgh prices through the roof /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif *not bitter really* We could buy a castle in the Highlands for the price of a bedsit in Edinburgh...... /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Anyways, you guys will be more than welcome when it's all sorted. Haven't played Evo in ages.

dude, you can have my house for a 6 figure sum, that's cheap these days!

Bellevue is nice though isn't it?

I'm sure you'll all find it hilarious to know that I've lost my voice tonight.

Speaking of insane flights of fancy, there's also Evo2k4 happening in California. No doubt flights would be extortinate from Edinburgh.....

I'd really fancy attending a big event like that. Would motivate me to play and generally be a cool experience.

I'm actually on holiday that week in July /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Maybe it's doable if we all club together for a hotel or find someone stupid enough to put up some scottish guys.

Love the mugshots - Chibita looks scary in his photo.

You know from looking at the tournament games list one thing struck me.....I haven't played the home version of Tekken 4 yet. Might pick up a used copy today in Game, just out of curiosity. I haven't really enjoyed Tekken since the seminal Tekken 2 port to Playstation.

The overall score is still in my favour /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

but yeah as much as it will make things easier I'm really unsure I want to take the sc2 stick with me to leeds now. I missed more tfts than I hit today.

Actually funnily enough I find my akria a trillion times better on your stick. It's just the down and left direction I find unforgiving compared to my own.

I wish I'd saved some off the matches today. Especially from the first to 21 between kage and shun.

    Re: Edinburgh VF

So I pick up Tekken 4 today hoping for the best. *ugh* Not good - slow gameplay, weak animation and laggy combo inputs. Evo shits on it basically.

The other thing that surprised me was the art direction/style. I always remember Namco's games being nicely styled, but T4's character models and concepts have given me a whole lot more respect for VF4.

So it's back to Evo thank you very much, and back to Game to reclaim my £20.
