I'm crazy today. Just spent 160 quid on a crystal edition Xbox and a copy of Pandora Tomorrow /versus/images/graemlins/crazy.gif. Once again find myself feeling guilty for spending too much on gaming. Anyway, does anyone have Panzer Dragon Orta? If someone got it can I borrow it? I tried but I can't find any new or second hand copy of this game in the store /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif.

It looks...different, the controllers are almost completely transparent, nice /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif If I waited for another month or so the price of Xbox might drop again. Anyways, my wallet is crying /versus/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

But I will make the trip to Leeds with you guys.

I just picked up a copy myself. Planning a quiet weekend of gaming after last weekends hangover and a frankly shite week at work. /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Looking forward to trying the multiplayer elements of PT. I hear it's pretty special.

Well Splinter Cell PT is fantastic. Dunno how I managed to miss the first one (no Xbox perhaps!...doh) but I'm totally digging this game. It's so atmospheric; gameplay reminds me a bit of Thief on PC. The multiplayer looks great but haven't had time to properly play it.

well seeing as i thought the first splinter cell was the opposite of fun I won't be picking up PT.

This wed's vf is starting to look a teensy bit ropey for me but ill definitely be able to do the meet and buy tickets thing.

Never encountered any crash bugs while playing online. The multiplayer mode is quality, btw. It's teams of two players - spies and mercenaries - who face-off against each other. Think Aliens the movie in a multipllayer game and you're getting close to how imagining the atmosphere and tension of this mode. Superb.

Haven't really gotten into the single palyer mode that much (still on the first level). Completely different game to playing online to be honest. Favourite part has got to be walking up to someone then snapping their neck. /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif You got Live Li? Like to snap some necks. I've encountered a few crashes but nothing major, just seems to happen randomly during searches.

I'm not planning on getting Live at the moment so I have to miss the multiplayer part. The single player part is good enough for me though, I think I will get the first Splinter Cell game after I finish this one.

I was just thinking the same - pick up the first game after this one. The atmosphere is the most incredible part of this game, and the shadows and lighting....wow.

It's good a few developers at least are making what I'd call more mature games like this. I'd say this game is aimed at older players, or gamers who appreciate a realistic setting and story.
