ok it's near 8am I've been playing FFX for somewhere in the region of fifteen hours with no real break and I'm going to go to sleep now.

But before I do I thought I'd upload the first batch of vids from wednesday.

Nice matches guys, I like they way you've got the names popping up on screen at the beginning /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif. With any luck we'll be able to get some good matches saved when we play.

I'm curious what made you start FFX again.

Anyway, video number 2, I really should be breaking those TFT's a bit more often than never /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

My movement is looking a bit sharper though.

You broke TFT a lot on wednesday, it was just that these were all saved at the start of the day.

As for FFX, I dunno. it alywas bugged me that on my first play though I never really explored much past the main story so I thought I'd give it another chance and maybe see if I liked it better this time.

So far I'm digging it a lot more.

It jsut doesn't work for me

anyways normally I have no problems with the inputs, it's just the timing I screw up.

But I've been very neglectful of my game of late so (shrug). Laying of the quest mode is improving my overall game a lot, but it's maknig my inputs decidely ropey. We'll have to have a few proper big practice sessions before manchester.

Felt I played a lot better today than wednesday's matches. To need to make sure that I'm getting those 270 throws in, instead of all those standard throws I was doing today.

I just had an encouraging little practice session. I feel like I'm really starting to get over this little bad patch I'm going through.

Then I watched the replay of my last match with Li.

Much smiling ensued.

Was a good wee session. Shame I had to leave early but my play was becoming decidedly ropey before I left anyway. I remember having some decent matches near the start.

A little update on the weekend situation. The Saturday or Sunday of the last weekend in January is looking like a distinct possibility.

Not sure about arcades in Paris.....but I remember seeing some French folk posting in Jamboree.

The last 2 days have seen my PC's health deteriorate rather badly. I don't think it'll last much longer /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

So, I'll take the time now to tell you that 1.30 is good on wednesday.

I should really stick some vf on and get some practice done, and probably try and get some sleep tonight.

I am 50 hours into FFX now and could probably do with a nap.

I'm actually at the point where I got bored and stopped playing last time round, no sign of that happening this time as I've got celestial weapons to find.

Well, I need to spend a night backing up pc files and then thinking how i'm going to affort a new pc. So if my play is a bit sub standard tomorrow then I apologise.
