This thread is fucking stupid. VF3BeatsVF4 you are a complete garbage player and no one gives a fuck if you can't deal with Vanessa and Lei Fei. You should've asked for specific matchup advice instead of whining like a little bitch on the main console forum. You are a scrub and an incompetent fuck. Please get banned.

First off, I know Lei Fei is easily beatable and also that he can be utilized by great players (so don't get butthurt). This is what I've observed. Back when I played vf4, it was only against family and friends. None of us knew any evade crouch dash cancel shit or counted frames. We had regulars and beginners. One of my brothers friends was new to the game and always played lei fei. He would get us over and over with the same shit. He even told me he was just mashing buttons. He couldn't play any other character for shit, yet he'd control the whole pace of the fight with lei fei. I think I had to get cheap back on him to beat him. I don't remember how I did it, but it worked everytime after that. It just seemed to take too much effort to learn to beat a guy who admitted to just mashing.

Now on XBL I get the same thing with Lei. Cheap little bastards with the same shit over and over. I know I have to just learn to beat that shit again, but it is frustrating for me. Someone suggested I control Lei Fei in the dojo against Pai (my main), set to level 5, and see how the CPU deals with that cheap shit. Will probably try that today.

I'm sure you guys are all bad as fuck, and wouldn't get bogged down by his cheap ass strings. But for people learning the game, it's not right that we should so easily lose to someone that's not even trying to learn the game.

Blaze and Eileen were the newcomers in 2007, then Brad and Goh before that, then these two for vanilla VF4. Vanessa never felt easy to use? Lei, just step and float - Pai's easy 3K+G, 6K+G, 2P, Rising P+KP and the pounce if you get it shreds him. Very risky to try a reverse. Use palm to push him back, and watch out for the low hitting stagger kick he has and that long range lunging punch. You probably won't be using throw much against Lei players, but get ready to throw escape or just hit P when they attempt the odd one. Use your 7K+G to clear space, then poke him from range with 3K to see what he does.
