Hmm... Well unless its on a PC monitor, SFII Turbo will come out B&W cause its not SCART compatible. Someone else will have to supply the game for me as I don't have it.

Just download it and put on the RGB fix. That`s the only way around it.

I just worked out that single match, winner stays on will mean 5 mins per match. If 15 ppl turn up, that's 1 go every hour, totalling to 8 gos for the whole day minimal.

Compare it to 2 credit, winner stays on, which only lets ppl have 2 go's every two hours, which still totals to 8 gos but really it would seem like 4 go's.

besides, its a little more challange to the veterns to know that they can get knocked off if they lose a single match. It will mean the play will be more varied, rather than playing the same top player, time and time again.

Well that's what I'm hoping anyway...

if the tv can take ntsc/3.58mhz it will be in colour
u still hav the panasonic tv with the s video input? the vga box has s video output, plus its like a 21inch so u should use that

We've only got those Thorn branded TVs. They only accept NTSC in colour if its thru a scart cable. Same with the larger TV.

when u say "scart" do u mean RGB or scart in general? as scart was made for composite baseband video and s-video plus audio, rgb was an after thought, can u tell if the tv is getting rgb or whatever? as most scart leads hav eather rgb plus composite, or s-video plus composite, i know that sony tvs on av1 is both comp an rgb? it cant take ntsc if its rgb, rgb gets rid of the ntsc colour subcarrier, it can take ntsc if its comp or s-vid
surely u hav a tv that can take 60hz?

Those tvs take direct Scart. so its not those bodged up phono to scart adapters. using those or just phono/composite - s-video turns the picture b&w but no distortion. The sony TV can take all types and outputs colour. The sony TV is unavailable so we cant use it.

your still not making your self clear!
so basicly the tv take composite video via scart, and if its ntsc it plays in black and white but stable, same if it takes phono av or s-video?
im sure my pal booster for ps will get colour out of it for av phonos, but if u have that panasonic tv still, with the s-video, that can take ntsc rags! i remember using my jap dc on it all the time, s-video and composite av!

composite video via scart - in colour
phono av or s-video - in B&W Stable

I got vf4 in colour now, so it doesn't really matter. Its the DC i'm worried about.... cause SF2X isn't RGB compatible...

Sounds like folk had a good time. Will there be any similar events in August? My July big-smoke trip is now cancelled, but looks like we'll be coming down in August instead.

That dependant on what the owner says. I hope we can continue throughout the year. I can then offer prizes that way.

Any improvements that could be made?
