I thought the random elbow and hopping punch after RBC in the first round were pretty indicative of a stiff or unfamiliar stick. Could've sworn there were other examples, but after watching it again, there really weren't.

Definitely looked like he was either having problems with the stick, his nerves, or both.

Plague, regarding the combo, I recall posting about it from Arcadia:

    Arcadia (Feb 04) Combos

and this was for Evo, so its nice to see it still working in FT.

Man I'm so out the loop...I remember netrom posted something about that combo but I assumed open stance and I checked for all characters way back based on that assumption and found nothing & go figure I play against Vanessa all the time. Urgh. Oh well. Somebody's in for a surprise tomorrow /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

About the doublepalm...If I miss a doublepalm I'm going to give you (in the order of frequency) 1)a hopping punch 2)an elbow 3)a standing palm 4)a single palm. Ohsu, who's nerves seem to affect his inputs as much as any elite player I've seen, used to throw out hopping "doublepalms" in tight matches a good deal. Of course you or I play him and it's open stance 46p, 2p yoho dbpm all day long with everything else tight as hell.

The real fucker in this match was the knee in round three that left a sliver when bodycheck was curtains.

that combo's Vanessa only, closed stance DE counter hit, have to delay something a little, can't remember what... either the DJK or 2nd K, you can do it in Evo too. Practice @ Ready Go against Vanessa.

I think nobody means the few times it looks like he wants to DblPm/SDE but gets an elbow or a Jump.

Got to delay the 2nd DJK. Its not a very reliable combo though. Sometimes you can do it with no delay at all, sometimes the 2nd kick will never connect even if you delay or don't. Really weird combo.
