To be honest: I became interested in Virtua Fighter around the time when VF4Evo and later VF4FinalTuned came out. I was surprised by the look and feel of VF5 and this game was the only reason why i bought a Playstation 3 in the first place. So got my japanese Game/Console directly after jap release date. Unfortunately, the PS3 Version had no Online Play so i bought a XBOX360 and VF5 [IMG]

I would do the same for VF5R any time. Its simply a great fighting game game worth spending hours/months in it.

VF is the game I play most in my life. Having VF5R on console is a dream of mine. Please bring it to the consoles SEGA, thank you.

    Dear SEGA.
In my opinion Virtua Fighter is the best fighting games series ever. I love technical system and very balanced fighters. I very want to play the best version of this epic game, but i can't.
Please SEGA, bring VF5R on PS3, X360, and maybe... PC (where the people still need a good 3d fighter).

My English is horrible, but at least it's something. xD
I also think it is really nice of Kamaage to offer to do this, thank You!

    Dear Sega,

VF4 introduced me to fighting games when it came out on PS2. I played VF4 and VF4EVO every day for several years. Even though I was in college, somehow I always found time.
When VF5 came, I bought a PS3 only to play it. Now I'm waiting for VF5R. Please release Virtua Fighter 5R for Playstation 3 and Xbox360. I would make me and so many Virtua Fighter fans happy!

Dear Sega, I hope you guys get this. I want to say that I appreciate the incredible game you guys have made and just love to watch the new VF5R matches from youtube. Virtua Fighter really is the best fighting game, and I applaud the WCG for keeping it in the competition. I believe if you brought VF5R to console you have that platform to make the game known worldwide. Please consider porting the game to console. Let us the fans worry how to promote it locally. I myself would buy 3 copies to introduce my friends to it.

Thank you for you for your attention.

I started playing VF in 2006 when I saw VF5 in an arcade in Ikebukuro and instantly
knew this was a game I wanted to play. VF has to be the best fighting game system ive
played and I still play VF5, however without VF5R my fighting game spirit is starting
to die so please bring VF5R to console so those outside of japan can play.

    Dear Sega,

If you really want to release Virtua Fighter 5:R to a home console, please make it multiplatform. I prefer PS3 platform mainly because you will _absolutely_ gain some real money from its sales. If you get what I mean, of course.

    Thank you.

I've been playing since VF4 and VF5: Online is my most played game out of all the games I own for the 360. I've spent years playing with friends and family. All that said, I really wish to play VF5R on console because I think it's an enhanced version of an already stellar game. I'll buy more Sega products if I can just get VF5R in console form in the United States. Yes,that's how much I care for the game.

    Dear Sega,

My first experience with VF was in a local arcade, and it was Virtua Fighter 3. At that time, it totally blew my mind. Since then i've been playing every VF game that came out. Sadly, right now i can only watch VF5:R matches on youtube, and not play it. So to whoever makes decisions at Sega, please make the console port of VF5:R a reality. That would be the best decision from Sega since many years.

    Thank you.

    Dear Sega,

Virtua Fighter has a lot of fans outside of Japan who love everything you have achieved with this game.

Unfournately it's not easy to be one of them because we have no access to the best iterartions of the game ( VF4 Final Tuned & VF5 R ).

You are screwing your loyal fan base out of the arcades.

We deserve a Virtua Fighter with all the options of the arcade version, a console port that could match the arcade one face to face.

I hope you will reconsider your decissions regarding console ports of the best fighting game avaible out there.

    Hi
The purpose of this message is to tell you why it would be such a cool thing for you to make Virtua Fighter 5R for consoles.
This message is part of the action started by “Myke” and “Kamaage” from the forums on www.virtuafighter.com.

This document undoubtly already contains lots of reasons why VF5R for console is needed. Well, prepare for mine:
Amongst videogames, the Virtuafighter series is unique.
Even among the Fighting Game Genre specifically, the Virtuafighter series is still unique.
If you look at all contemporary Fighting games available for home consoles (and computers), there is something missing. You see the high-speed insanity of BlazBlue. You see the mashable coolness of Soul Calibur 4. You see the elegance of Street Fighter IV. You see the mainstream-friendliness of Tekken 6. You see the sheer fun and craziness of Tatsunoku vs. Capcom. You see... well, the self indulgent violence of Mortal Kombat is gone and i don´t think we need to bother with mentioning Dead or Alive, so let´s just leave it at that. But that is enough to make one realize that there is a big gaping hole. Where is the technical complexity, the depth of the best thought-through fighting system ever. Where is the irony of pitting stereotypical representatives of real-world fighting styles against each other? Where is the GAMEPLAY that continuously leads to virtual violence until 3 in the morning? Hey, there – look, there are two different, outdated versions of Virtua Fighter 5 for PS3 and 360 respectively. One of them has not even online support. I think i know why so many of us fighting game fans are watching the big arcades in Nippon with so much envy. Only there the newest Virtuafighter can be played.
I fondly recall as, over ten years ago i and several others in our class at a technical college installed the PC Version of Virtua Fighter 2 on our classroom´s computer and banged the healthbars out of each other between lessons. I recall several other gaming sessions with Virtuafighter over the years, each a roaring virtual rampage of fisticuffs, depleting healthbars and battle of wits. And let´s not forget the fun.
I think it should be obvious now why i want VF5R for PS3.

And with the right marketing (that´s waving a fencepost at you, as we in Austria here tend to say), well...

My name is Michael Heinisch. I live in Austria. I am a fan of Virtuafighter.

I first played VF in a service station in 1993. I was 13 years old. I'm now approaching 30 and I absolutely love the VF series. To be able to play VF5R at home on my console would be amazing. SEGA and Virtua Fighter have a massive global fanbase who would love to see this released.

Please, please release VF5R for the home consoles!

    Many thanks.

Virtua Fighter on the consoles were always a must have for me. It would be sad, if the last part of the Virtua Fighter series wouldn't be playable on the actual consoles.

    Make it true Sega!

Give the world the opportunity to play one of the best fighting games ever!

    Aloha,

I played the original Virtua Fighter in the Arcade in 1994. I was 9 years old. I fell in love with fighting games because of Virtua Fighter. I recently subscribed to Arcadia Magazine just so I could watch the 2009 Tougeki Super Battle Opera VF5R matches. I bought the original VF5 on the PS3 but with the lack of online support I really have no competition. I even purchased the XBOX 360 just so I could play online. The new characters are amazing and everything just seems better on Virtua Fighter 5 R. I would even purchase copies for both systems that's how much I love this game. There is only one true king of fighters and that is Virtua Fighter. I would totally support SEGAS decision to open this wonderful fighter to the home consoles.

    Dear SEGA,

The success of Street Fighter IV shows us that the fighting games are living a second youth. Thanks to the online gaming it's so much easier to find friends that share your passion as it's much easier to create a stable community of people. If the game is good (and Virtua Fighter 5 is Great!) and the online functional the word of mouth will spread everywhere. Just look at the unexpected hit of games like BlazBlue (another fighting game) or Demon's Souls. Virtua Fighter 5 R has a great chance of being a commercial hit, the game is already fantastic, it only needs a good online and a good marketing strategy like being present at every important fighting tournaments.
Please bring Virtua Fighter 5R to console, this is one of the few games I really care about,

    Dear SEGA,

I ask you to please bring Virtua Fighter 5R to consoles, the fighting scene is making a comeback thanks to Street Fighter IV by Capcom. This game will make current Virtua Fighter fans and make new ones, similar to Street Fighter IV. Many of us in the US are awaiting for more Virtua Fighter and this is the key to the solution! Please bring this to console, SEGA!
