    Dear Sega,

I consider myself a somewhat fighting game enthusiast. Anytime I see that a new fighting game is about to hit the market, I'll bust out my credit card and preorder it. I'll be honest, I didn't really like Virtua Fighter at first, but that's mainly because I didn't know what I was doing. But then my best friend, who's a huge VF fan, showed me how to play, and I gotta say I'm a rather large fan of it now. So please bring VF5R to consoles, it really sucks I can't play the next game in one of my favorite series of video games.

I would like to see VF5R on consoles AND PC. Capcom broke the ice by putting SF4 on the PC and it went pretty well. Also arc is bringing Blazblue to PC as well. I'm hoping Sega follows and decides to bring VF5R to PC.

I've been playing VF since the original first came out at the arcade. I was taken away how different the game played from SF2 and Mortal Kombat at the time. When Saturn and PSX came out despite PSX being superior, I had to get the Saturn because it came with VF1 and it would be the only system VF would be on.

A bit later I got VF remix and then VF2 when it first came out. I brought a Dreamcast just go get VF3tb. And a PS2 just to get VF4. I brought no other games for the ps2 but VF4 hah. I've never gotten the chance to play VF5 because I refuse to buy a console just for one game anymore.

And sadly, there are no arcades in sight where I live. Japan is lucky that the arcades are still alive. In NA they are practically on life support. The majority of us have no chance of ever playing VF5r the arcade even if it came to a arcade in NA. Since they are so rare to find. For NA and EU, online play has taken the place of arcades.

Anyhow, I would love to see a release of VF5r on consoles and pc with windows live support and perhaps cross platform play.

    Note: I also owned VF1 on 32x!

I love VF and played since VF2. I always see the VF5R movies in Youtube but I can never play. Please give us a chance to play this wonderful game for us.

I have played VF since the first title, it is one of the finest game series available. The fighting genre is having a renaissance and VF should be a part of this. I so want VF5R to be available for consoles, since the only times I get to pay it is when I go on business trips to Japan. I know many people in my country who would definitely buy it.

    VF5R for console effort

I Have been a Virtua fighter fan sense VF4. I'v always wanted to try the game when Vf2 was out but at the time i was little & was lucky the i even had a console ps1 but had to share it with others. But when VF4 came out on the ps2 it looked great & took me awhile to figure out the mechanics but I feel in love. And when i heard it was coming to the PS3 I ran to the nearest game store & brought a PS3 counting down the day VF5 would be in my hands. I got it, loved it, & been playing even till this day but the only this is when i heard that VF5r was coming out i was again crying like a school girl because 360 had the most resent version of the game & i thought that PS3 would again have an update to the game but My dreams were crushed & have never forgotten the game. Now i hear that there might be a chance of it coming to consoles & I'm here to support it 110%. Please bring it to the states cause its a game that shouldn't be missed i don't really like Tekken, DOA is good, But VF is what tests the truly dedicated in this complex fighting system. Thank you for listening

    Let's see. I've played...

Virtua Fighter in arcades. Also on the 32X. (Not my 32x tho'. [IMG]

VF2 in arcades and on the Saturn.

VF3 in arcades and I remember having to pay a dollar to play it.

VF4 and VF4 Evo on the PS2. Best training mode ever!

And VF5 Online on the 360.

I don't know if VFKids and Fighting Vipers/Fighters Megamix count.

So yes of course I want VF5R on console!

    Dear Sega

I watch virtua fighter 5R videos everyday on youtube, niconico, zoome. The game looks amazing you guys did a fantastic job on it. I would like to have a chance at playing it so please give us a console release so that all of us virtua fighter players outside of japan can have a chance to try it. Ive been playing Virtua Fighter since VF3 came out at the arcades and every single one after that. I hope you guys consider our request and thank you for hearing us out. Thank you Kamaage for your support.

Ive been playing Virtua Fighter since number 1 and have always played them on a Sega console and with the end of the Dreamcast I bought a PS2 just for VF4! The Virtua Fighter series are the best fighting games out there and they have been since VF1. I see no reason why VF5R cant see the kind of success that Street Fighter 4 has saw with the right kind of marketing and an all format release as VF5R is the better game. So come on Sega get the masses playing VF5R as once they get into it they will be hooked! MY friends that don't play Virtua Fighter but do play SF4 say that the reason they don't try Virtua Fighter is its reputation of being too technical and hard to master which I think is the image Virtua Fighter has to loose if it wants a bigger fan base as if you try Virtua Fighter you will realize its a lot of fun and as easy to pick up and play for both beginners an experts alike

    Dear Sega,

I have been playing Virtua Fighter ever since I had the first one on 32X. It has been a part of my gaming life for so many years and more recently I’ve even decided which console I’d like to buy based on which would get more Virtua Fighter support. It is a great game series and I would love to be able to play Virtua Fighter 5R at home and share it with friends and see it at tournaments in the United States. So, I ask you kindly to please make it available for console in the US. It would make my year.

I used to play VF quite a long time ago on the older consoles. As an owner of VF4 and VF5, I've been watching VF5R videos on Youtube and I'm very impressed. I think that in the wake of the return of fighting games from SFIV to SSFIV, T6 and all the others, that a console release would be appropriate, not to mention widely popular. I know a lot of people who would be thrilled with a console release.

    Hi y'all,

Not much to say. I really like fighting games. I never played VF5R before because I simply don't live in Japan, so having it ported to the PS3 will really be a score for me. I truly hope it finally gets released, because the worst that can happen is buying a game that feels dated, and that's what might happen if this port takes too long to be released (it's been long enough already). So please, BRING IT ON ALREADY!

I always been a SEGA staff fanat, since MD2 days. And, of course, when SATURN show up on our market-i immediately buying that 'magic box' with some great games (Panzer Dragon 1,2; Guardian Heroes; Shinobi X ...etc, & greatest 3-d fighting on that console-VF2!).

After many hours conducted in battles with friends, VF become one of my favorit games. I play in all following sequels (except FT).

VF4EVO-truly masterpiece of fighting genre, containing all necessary parts for beginners and pros. VF5-makes big step ahead, but lost some very helpful & interesting options (super training mode with best tutorial, trial missions & exellent replay tools, ah...almost forgot-guide of VF terminology).

VF5R (like EVO before)-collected missing parts & improve already existent in VF5.

So, dear SEGA, please hear the voice hundreds of thousands your loyal fans and release VF5R on PS3 & XBOX360!

Virtua Fighter was my very first 3D fighting experience, before I played Tekken and other games that would follow in its footsteps. VF5 became one of the main reasons why I got myself a PS3. Granted, we did miss out on a little on the original version of 4 EVO, I would kill for an opportunity to get a chance to get a console version of VF5 R. Im 21 now, going on 22, and Its almost a weekly to biweekly ritual that I turn on my PS3, and throw in VF5. Please. Give us the chance to experience 5R.

If you even want me to roundhouse Obama, Ill do it with a Lau sound effect. Just please...release VF5R on consoles.

I have been a long time Sega fan. I spent countless hours playing the Sega Genesis. I missed out on the Saturn, and didn't get around to the Dreamcast until it was too late. But I spent countless quarters and time playing the VF series in local arcades. I still remember the first time I played Virtua Fighter at the local mall arcade. I was blown away.

I had seen attempts at 3d fighting games before on the PC, but nothing like this. Even after games like Tekken and Soul Calibur came out, Virtua Fighter was still my favorite 3d fighter. The depth of the fighting system always outclassed anything another 3d fighter could offer. VF is basically like playing a real fight.

I have since purchased and played every incarnation of Virtua Fighter. Sega, Virtua Fighter is important to the fighting game genre. You guys created the Street Fighter II of the 3d fighting game. Seeing that VF5R wasn't going to come to consoles crushed me. After reading about and viewing gameplay videos of VF5R, all I could think about was wanting to play it. Please Sega, please, bring this game to consoles. I would love to play VF5R on my 360 and PS3. Do the right thing.

Kamaage thank you for championing our cause in petioning Sega to release VF5R to consoles.

I've been a fan since the very first VF and could not wait to pounce on an opponent headfirst into their torso with Kage. Playing that game in the arcade was ethereal, never seen anything like it before and knew this was the future of fighting games. Fast forward almost twenty years and this series is still one of the best fighting games around.

Anxiously awaiting the next iteration of VF
