    ... Signed

Been playing VF since VF1 through to VF5.
... From Australia so we don't have VF55R at all.

I buy consoles solely to play VF
Bought a Saturn for VF2 exclusively. Sticks and all

Even worked at SegaWorld Themepark.. ran around as Sonic the Hedgehog in the mascot suit. Lots of fun.

Please port VF5R to XBOX or a console!

I've been playing fighting games since SF2: World Warrior was released for the SNES. In all my years of playing, Virtua Fighter has been the best series I was ever fortunate enough to have in my hands! It promotes the strongest players of any game out there. I currently own VF5, Blazblue, Street Fighter 4 and Tekken 6 for my 360. I believe VF5R, with an updated online play, would be BY FAR my most played game and certainly my favorite. Sorry to see that you don't believe VF5R would not be welcome on consoles, but all of us VFDC members would purchase it. I know I will!

As admin of the italian Virtua Fighter community my personal experience with VF is strictly bounded with Virtua Fighter Italia. After some months playing VF5 on and offline this summer we realized that there were a lot o potential players but basically not communication between 'em. Not all of us can write in english and the game was getting old, so we created a place where the italian players could gather, share information and find people to play with.

At first the thing worked. Not many, but a lot of people found new competitors and improved their game. Talking with interest of the new version and definitely looking forward for it.

When Virtua Fighter 5 R for console became less and less real, LOTS of people started to lose their interest and moved to other, newer, games.

I'm in stict contact with the whole fighing game community here in Italy, people who organize montly and weekly tounaments in Milan and Rome, and even if they aren't playing VF5 now there is a HUGE interest for the new version.

So, SEGA, you got a chance to play your cards in Europe and worldwide. CapCom is swimming in gold using a twenty years old game and selling it every year, adding twenty years old "new" characters. You got the better game, just make sure that people know this, that they can understand the game with a good tutorial, that they can play it online with a good netcode and interface. Your efferts in this port will be paid back.

I've been playing Virtua Fighter since the first game, and have owned a copy of every single one released on console- Saturn, Dreamcast, PS2, PS3.

VF5 was the reason I got my PS3 initially, and I loved it despite the lack of online.

However, I wish to have the total package that is VF5R.

I Want to Play as the New Fighters, Jean and Taka-arashi.

I Want to see all the awesome new moves and combos.

I Want to see the cool new costumes and customizations added.

PLEASE bring this to console!!! I will buy it even if it's at double normal price or if it's only a Collector's Edition.

Just a note, please include the Character Intros from the arcade with the home console port. They're really cool!!!

Again, PLEASE BRING VIRTUA FIGHTER 5R TO CONSOLE!!!

I discovered Virtua Fighter a bit late with VF4, then VF4Evo and now VF5. I've been playing fighting game since SF2 and since now, i played a lot with 2d fighting game.
Thing is Virtua Fighter is the ONLY 3D fighting game in my eyes being good, and VF5 is just one of my favorite fighting game.
The only one that can be better is VF5R, and there's no other way for us in France to play it. I could pay 200$ for it if there was a way but we're stuck.

Please consider that there are lots of fans all over the world from europe and america waiting for this.

I hope our requests will be considered.

My name is Andrei, 28 years old and I live in Bucharest, Romania. I have played Virtua Fighter since the original Virtua Fighter on the Sega Saturn. I was addicted by VF2 arcade and played alot of VF3 and 4 on Dreamcast and PS2, respectivelly.
    I currently play VF5 on my PS3.
VF5r is much more than the original vf5 and since there are no Arcades with VF5r in Romania, the only way for me to enjoy this marvelous fighting game would be on consoles.
Release vf5r and I will buy it the first day it appears on the shelves.

As a VF player since VF2, I have been very disappointed to know that a console release was not planned.
VF is the best 3D fighting franchise ever, that imho only lacks some flashy effects there and there to attract the masses. Sad but true.
When I heard about a petition which could really help a console release, I immediately thought I could spare a few minutes to sign in.

    We have hope !

I started playing VF on the VF2 sega saturn version and hardly play since the vf4 came out. My friends (who were originaly tekken's players) and me never stop to play, even now we carry on play the VF5 ps3 and xbox 360 version.

I am a 2D player, VF is the only 3D game I show interest for.
During my trip in Japan last summer I had the opportunity to try the VF5R version the new character Jean Kudo would be a good alternative to my main character Goh.

Anyway, we are waiting for VF5R.

Saw the bulletin on the SRK homepage and felt obliged to support this campaign.

Although I'm primarily a street fighter player the only 3D fighter I've ever really gotten into is VF and a console port of VF5R released here would be an instant buy!

Fighting games are back! They are regaining popularity due to the release of Street Fighter 4. Every other major fighting game has had a release in the past year or so on console. Street Fighter, Tekken, BlazBlue (GuiltyGear), King of Fighters and even Marvel vs Capcom 2 had a re-release.

THE Virtua Fighter SERIES HAS TO JUMP IN. IF THERE WAS A TIME FOR FIGHTING GAMES ON CONSOLES, IT IS NOW!!

    DO IT SEGA!!

    P.S. MAKE ANOTHER CONSOLE SEGA!!!

Hi. My name is Badr and I'm a big fan of Virtua Fighter. VF has always been my favorite 3D fighting game series. I played every iteration of VF and own VF2, Kids, 3, 4, 4evo, and 5 on PS3 and 360. When I first saw VF1 in the arcade I was amazed by the animation and fluidity of the realistic movements of the fighters and the easy 3-button control yet very deep fighting system of the franchise kept me playing all these years. I would love to see VF5R on consoles as I see that the gameplay additions it has are probably the biggest the series had got since virtua fighter 3.

    Dear Sega,

I've been playing Virtua Fighter since VF2 in the arcades.
Please release Virtua Fighter 5 R for Xbox 360 and PS3, make the AI as good as it was inVF4 EVolution, bring back VF4's AI training only this time allow them to uploaded and the downloaded into each player's quest mode arcades. Also please bring back the statistic tracking and training mode of VF4 EVolution. Just to cover all bases, make the console versions expandable with downloadable content. It's alot to ask , but it would make the best console fighting game of the decade.

    Thank You ,

I've been a fan of Virtua Fighter since I was a kid. Back then I could go to the nearest arcade and really enjoy the game. With it being 2010, there aren't very many arcades left in the United States and in my town there aren't any at all. With that being said, it was very upsetting to find out that VF5R was only going to be an arcade release because there aren't any arcades here. It's a smack in the face to fans of the series that have been supporting the series since the beginning but can't enjoy the newest VF. I own and still enjoy the original VF5(as well as VF4 EVO for the PS2) for the PS3 but would MUCH rather play VF5R. If VF5R was released on consoles then I would undoubtedly buy it. I love Virtua Fighter and want to continue supporting and enjoying the series. PLEASE RELEASE VF5R FOR PS3 AND XBOX360!

Hats off to Kamaage. The amount of work he has put into to this is outstanding.
I'm so glad to see this go ahead.
I started off with VF1 for the Sega Saturn. My uncle had it before I did so whenever I was there, That's all we would play.
I later got my own VF1 plus VF Kids.
Years go by and I forgot all about hem. Seidon came recommended that I tried VF5. I jumped at the chance knowing my past history with the VF series.
It is without a doubt one of the best fighting games I have ever played.
To me, VF5 is the most fair, well balanced fighting game around. No rage mode or revenge/ultra. Just plain, straight fighting.
Also, I watch matches of pro's/tournaments wishing that I could be a part of that. This whole idea of promoting VF5 is making my dream steps closer.
    Good luck again Kamaage.

People call it inaccessible, but it was Virtua Fighter 5 that got me hooked on 3-d fighting games and then fighting games, generally. My collection's 40 games strong, and I want to reward you all for knocking some sense into me. Let me buy Virtua Fighter 5 R!
