USA Todayarticle has one really creepy line in it:

Bush believes he was called by God to lead the nation at this time, says Commerce Secretary Don Evans, a close friend who talks with Bush every day

    Crusades anyone?

seems like everyone is all, bushed. Tired, that is. Ethical fat--I say--ethical fatigue is what they count on, son. I hope everyone is still paying attention even if they are not posting.

It is important to note that FF is at an all time low. No other large scale conflict has had so few.

Captain: "we've found chemical weapons... looks to be Sarin"
Corporal: "sir, I think it's pesticide, sir"
Captain: "great, there planning to spray us with some RAID?"
Corporal: "sir, actually, I believe they use this against insects, sir"
Captain: "well, don't let those Roo-oi-terz or Ali-jazzy-raz people find out about this"
Corporal: "sir, we should bomb them then, sir?"
Captain: "actually, that's a negative, corporal. Even if this is reported, most people won't remember it 16 hours later"

Majority of journalists around the world believe so yes.
Oh and regarding the chemical weapons, once again those turned out to be fake so still nothing.

    .....

This is not directed at any particular person or national group. However, how many people on the board believe that America/Britain/UN would risk conflict with one of the MANY countries who commit GROSS human right abuses, BUT, have Nuclear capability.

No nuke: Sanctions, Threats , Armed conflict (with or without the UN).
    NUKE: sanctions annnnnnnnnnd...... DIPLOMACY!
The UN is like a crippled toothless old tiger trying to frighten people with its 'roar'.

A synopsis of this war from a British and then an Iraqi civilian.
British: "Stressful (sic) day at work". (Watch news at 5pm for an hour)... damn that saddam!, is it videogame playing that got him this evil!?!
(changes channel) war..... war... war again... how boring... AH! the simpsons! thank fcuk! goes to meet mates at pub and discusses... Football.
Iraqi: Wife and son killed in allied bombing. Communications down, unable to contact other family members. Uncertain of future, past allied 'promises' meant nothing etc.

Possibly over 1000 Iraqi civilian deaths.
    I better stop now... peace.
