Not their fault? Are you kidding? Some of us switch to lion on purpose to piss people off.

If my opponent doesn't consider "I want a serious fight" an insult after my non-stop TRSF/TRSM/Kanpo/BT switching tactics then i'm doing something wrong /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/whistle.gif

I had no clue that pouncing on an opponent is considered disrespectful. I always try to get an /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/u.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif in at the end of the round with Pai just because I'm used to doing it on a downed opponent. I'd do /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif if I really wanted to taunt my opponent.

he's a character like anyone else and his voice and lines are FAR TOO CHEESY to even be considered an insult, LOL.

im guessing this is why everyone hates Lion?
because he has an annoying voice? cmon.... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/sleep.gif

I like to pounce on people who get RO and fall a great height/into water. Wrong?

I do that all the time after I ring them out. Most people get a laugh out of it.

    Virtua Disrespect?! LOL

In a live Karate tournament, respect is a rule.

I don't see any 'rule' in the instruction manual about 'respecting' a KO'ed foe.

I stompy stompy like mad. If the person I'm playing is a sore loser (one who swears at how cheap you are cause you know how to actually block and hit them correctly) then I stomp while using various insults into the microphone...

    "Bang, no kids for j00!"
"Why does Akira's jumping down attack look so weak?" - spam heavy down attacks lol
    "BOOM, headshot!"

    etc.

I see no reason to 'respect' foes in a virtual game. ESPECIALLY if they refuse to update their games in real time. [aka adapt] Now granted, I hate LP spammers (usually on how easy they are to beat, not that LP is invincible) so at the end of a fight, I'll spam LP near their corpse saying "you like dis? You like dis?" ^_^

I stomp after a match and what? Who gonna do something about it? Last i checked Losers have no rights?

I i feel i wanna kick you while you down i will. Although i don't do it really to people im cool with but most of the time i'll just crouch down.. AS far as people who like to dance around and taunt i'll make it hurt.

After I lose in VF, I call the other guy a noob, and make fun of him for being a cheap 2p whore.

    Is that ok?

I never verbaly insult anyone, scream, use profanity, etc. That's where I draw the line- as I have respect for each player as a person.
HOWEVER I think any taunting action you can do in game is cool. I don't think that there is anything wrong with a little competitive spirit. I believe taunting in game can even take away from the other person's focus and allow you to snag a win from time to time.
Sometimes people taunt me, I always take it in good humour. (even though I will definatley try harder the next round) If you are taunted and get extremely PISSED- then congratulations- you just let the other player get under your skin and possible mess up your game!!

What about timing the pounce so that it doesn't connect before going to replay?? Would that still be considered rude?

Ha ha. I try to do that sometimes.

I also like to stand near the staggering, KOed guy and wait till the last second and hit /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif.

I'll tell y'all what...Folks should just be thankful they "disabled" being able to ground grab a prone (lifeless) body - i.e. Wolf, Jeffery, and Aoi. As much as some folks dislike getting stomped on repeatedly upon K.O., I'd hate to have to deal with getting my arm/legs broken repeatedly, or clothelined...again, or slammed to the ground, again...or....
