I am not the IRC police or the VFDC police, what they said was thei business and I have no right to report them to you, nor to you have a right to know who it was, plain and simple.

The reason I didn't post the names in the first place is because the names only concern the people "involved," and from what I can tell , that is not you.

I know who the users were, who were making fun of the other users, but was unfamiliar with the users who were being made fun of, so even if I would tell their names, I don't know all of them anyways.

But what business do you have with those names, I already told you I am not just giving out info without legitimate and specific reasons, period. /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I see....so you bring it up and then I and everyone else don't have a 'right' to know?

then shut the fuck up. Why mention it at all, purport it to be true and then get completely defensive when called to the mat? Unless, of course, you are full of it. Once again.

It was an example, and it happened, plain and simple.

There is no changing the fact that it happened, no matter what you think, you can't change the past.

re: opinions can never be wrong... that's a semantic weasel maneuver /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Saying someone's opinion is "wrong" is just a simple, generic, easy to use term for "misinformed, biased, and error-laden" ... you can't automatically validate everything you say by tacking on "it's just an opinion".

Not to beat the point to death, but to use your media board example, you said "All I meant when I replied way back to Phoenix's post, was that the odds of seeing a match where the Kumite guest wins, are alot less than a match were you see him lose."

This is not an opinion, it's a statement of fact. There's no "my opinion is" or "my impression is" or "I think"... those words provide some insurance against being bitched at for making erroneous statements. But the idea is to not make erroneous statements. If you'd been watching kumite clips for more than a couple of weeks you'd know that your statement is incorrect. In the am2 chibi_xxxxx series chibita wins 3 more times than he loses. In the kyasa_xxxx kyasao wins 4 more times than he loses. The kazu series adds +2 to chibita's total and +1 to kyasao's. That's a lot of anal retentive digging that I had to do just to make a point that I already knew - that your statement was plain wrong. People here (myself included) will hound you over stupid little points like this if you refuse to concede them... because misinformation makes baby jesus cry.

Because YOU brought it up as an example. Emp, how do you expect people to trust/respect the things you say when you don't respect/trust what anyone else says? I guess GE or anyone else doesn't have the "RIGHT" to know but if you want to have a debate or dialouge you have to support any claims made. Any idiot can make up stuff out of thin airs and claim it as TRUTH but without the ability to back up those claims all they are...are thin air. /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

No it was an UNFOUNDED example....get it through your thick head! If you can't back it up with fact it means nothing to anyone else here, so DON'T bring it up in the first place. So much for trying to attempt a civil conversation with you. Wake up buddy, you are completely transparent to the people here.

Ok, now add up all of the win/loss matches overall for the Kumite's and see what you get........ overall loss right?

And there are more matches of Minami losing on that thread, than there are of winning, right? I was arguing over Minami anyways, who has more loss matches posted than win matches, right again?

What was this thread about? /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Basically, I am not going to reveal those posters, I don't care what you believe or not about the matter, I saw what I saw.

Still, will someone tell me why they think that they have a right to know, rather than "becuz u brought it up,"?

Why ,and seriously please answer this question, do you resort to this type of remark so often? Are you unable to sense a pattern, unable to see the reactions you instigate, unable to make the connection between your own mistakes and others anger? Or is that your goal here?

again, why should we play by any rule you make up? You seem to think that if you ask questions it will make people forget that you're completely boxed in with a lie showing all over your face. it won't.

Answer: Elvis is playing Evo with me on my PS2 right here in my living room. I have pictures but he's asked me not to reveal them to the world. And you know what? He rocks with Kage!

Don't care who's rules you play by GE, I'm not your supervisor, nor do I care to be.

I already said that you are free to choose what you think, end of story. I am still retaining that the story is true, you have not presented any facts disproving it, so what are you trying to accomplish?

Empnova told me I could speak on his behalf here so I thought I would and educate the masses.

Basically, he talks a lot of nonsense. When he gets called on the things he says he jumps quickly to defend himself but soon realizes he's not at all up to the task. It's at that point that he tries to re-direct peoples attention to the original point of the thread he polluted so he doesn't have to admit he's a dumbass.

This isn't just my opinion, by the way, it is a fact. He told me himself. I have the pm.

Now THIS thread is amusement. Emp has a history of saying crap without any sort of solid foundation to back up his, er, "points," and this one really takes the cake. "I have an argument here's I'm desparately trying cling to but YOU MINDLESS PEONS DON'T DESERVE TO SEE WHAT BACKS UP MY 'FACTS'! SO THERE!"

I get the feeling Emp works in the Bush administration. "There are Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq! I swear!"

    I'm 20, BTW.

    Re: How old?

I'm 24 And as long as VF maintains it's level of quality, I don't see any reason why I'd stop playing it when I hit 30. I grew up on videogames, so I don't think it's something that I'll drastically abandon when I reach a certain age. Especially now with companies putting out more and more mature games like Max Payne, GTA3... Guess they've finally realised that the kids who spent hours playing Pac Man, Shinobi and Double Dragon got older. If you think people who play VF are old you should see the age of some cats who play Madden.

As long as it isn't an addiction and doesn't have negative effects on your lifestyle and personal life I don't see nothing wrong with it. You have movies for adults and movies for kids... Same thing with videogames.

Ok, now add up all of the win/loss matches overall for the Kumite's and see what you get........ overall loss right?

That's a helluva lotta work just to (again) prove something that I already know to be absolutely true: That am2's movies show more wins by the guest IN GENERAL than they do losses. Minami is probably the first and only exception. Why is this hard to believe, when the guests typically win anywhere from 3/4ths to 9/10ths of their matches? You're making generalizations about a ton of clips that you have not watched.

And there are more matches of Minami losing on that thread, than there are of winning, right? I was arguing over Minami anyways, who has more loss matches posted than win matches, right again?

This cracks me up. Your first line is basically "I was talking about all kumite players overall" and this next line is basically "I was really talking just about minami specifically."

To get all godeater on you: "You're changing the parameters of the argument in order to make reality align with your flawed viewpoint."

In any case, I just went through 30 clips to illustrate that you were wrong, and you're now asking me to go through 300 more. How about you do the scrubwork and prove yourself right by posting the win/loss results of 300 kumite clips?

Your reply is a classic example of someone who has caught a bad case of I-can't-admit-it-when-I'm-dead-wrong.
