Is Mike Tyson the greatest boxer ever?

Not if you've heard of Joe Louis. Or Ali. Or Sugar Ray Robinson. Or Rocky Marciano. Or Julio Ceasar Chavez. Shit. Marco Antonio Barrera is a better "boxer" than Mike Tyson ever was or will be. So is Roy Jones Jr., just to name two guys swinging right now. Don't be too impressed by the brutal KO tapes featuring second rate fighters who pissed their pants and ran or took a knee as soon as the opening bell sounded. Anyone who Tyson EVER FAUGHT who was actually willing to and capable of giving Tyson a fight (no small feat, to be sure) bested him in the ring. Holyfield is decidedly average in the pantheon of heavyweight champions and he bested Tyson easily. Buster Douglas? The "greatest boxer ever" wouldn't, IN HIS PRIME, get KO'd by a chump like this. I mean, Lennox Lewis absolutely SCHOOLED Tyson, whether you think it was fair for him to use his longer arms or not.

Mike Tyson? Great fighter, no doubt. Fearsome KO power with both hands and excellent movement & defense besides. But you have never seen, nor will you see him triumph in the kind of WAR the greatest fighters win. His braingame is poor. His will flees in the face of great adversity. Gotta love those 9 frame kenka uppers though.

You should give my reply a second look. In more plain terms, you should have said you were playing devil's advocate UP FRONT to avoid causing unnecessary drama.

This looks like a case of a guy sprinting out of the store with unpaid goods under his arm, leading 5 other people on a chase around the block, and then when he's finally caught saying "What?! Why are you on my case? I was GOING to pay for it."

Hey dude, lets say by some stroke of the devil you become a parent. You have kids, one is a girl. She goes out with Mike Tyson, gets fucked so hard she comes home with a few bruises, bleeding, etc...she obviously wanted it...I am assuming you and Mike will go out for drinks later, right?
