The EC stands for Electric Cancel (I believe that's a Tekken term). EC4 was last year, I believe, in Los Angeles. Featured competitor was Mad Dog Jin from Korea. It was a national tournament to my recollection. All VF competitors besides Mad Dog were local to SoCal if I recall correctly.

EC4.5 took place slightly after that. It featured mostly, if not completely, local Tekken players. The VF portion included competitors from Northern and Southern California, plus Shou-Sama (I'm not sure where he lived at that time period).

I don't know details about EC5 other than I've heard it's in December. Tekken Zaibatsu and Electric Cancel should have details.

Sorry about the tournament no-show this coming weekend, we would've liked to meet the San Diego players. We're just too pressed for time right now.

Hello. Electric Cancel 5 will most likely be going down in Jan. I'll keep you guys posted on it. Also I hope you guys can make it to Electric Cancel: San Diego this Saturday!

I can offer rides on friday if you guys can find a place to crash for the night in sandiego and chip in for gas. Maybe some SD people can room other players for the night. But please leave this as a last restort . . . I got "plans" for friday night.

I can't host tonight or this weekend. Construction is coming to a end, though /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif. This should be the last weekend for the scaffolding. The walls are done, and we want the floor in by the end of November. Hopefully we can put something together for the beginning of December - it'll be good warm-up for anyone going to I Love VF in NY - or we could wait until Spotlite returns from Japan. Either way, it would be cool to have something as big as what we did in October.

For tonight, we can bring one set-up, but Catherine and I need to leave at midnight. Also, it is possible that we're going to San Fernando Valley to breed our dog tonight. If that happens, we can't play VF.

Sorry to be so much up in the air. I'll know more later on today and will post accordingly.
