Thursdays rock. Thanks to everyone who made it to AI. Nice to see <font color="blue">DRE</font> again. It's also very cool to see <font color="blue">Ken_I</font> making weekly appearances.

We had at least three players that don't post here (if you guys are reading this, sign up and post to identify yourselves /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif - if you don't, you'll end up with some non-descript name like "The SNK Guys" or "Tom's friend" or "A guy that looked like <font color="blue">Mike90210</font>'s younger brother if he had one").

Good games last night. Thanks to everyone who helped with transferring my card info.

Nice to see <font color="blue">nordic, PhoenixDth, GoatCheeseBlues, IronJUNKIE, Betabow,</font> the man known only as "the Korean Akira player," and Richard. Well, Catherine and I didn't actually get to see Richard as we left before he arrived. I hear <font color="blue">Betabow</font> was discussing Lau strats with him.

SoCal VF4:FT on Thursdays

Last night included appearances from <font color="blue">Nordic, Jack, Min (Minh?, Mihn?), GoatCheeseBlues, PhoenixDth, Andy, Richard, Ken_I, DRE, Catherine,</font> an un-named Lion player, and myself. Very cool that you all came out to play.

Catherine (Pai) had a killer 4 game streak vs. Andy (Pai), myself (Akira), GoatCheeseBlues (Pai), and Jack (Akira). Round 1 against Andy was a lucky win when he did low throw and rung himself out, Rounds two and three were decisive victories. She beat GoatCheeseBlues and I, 3-1 each. She beat Jack 3-0. She finally lost to DRE's Lion (1-3, I think) - he was using the very effective mid-spin/low-spin, anti-techroll technique. The gallery was really into it. It was awesome.

I will add that the gallery is often into it for everyone's fights. This makes it a lot of fun for me and I imagine the rest of you all. I really like the SoCal players. Thanks for making VF even better than it already is.
