I hate to ask people this but is it possible you guys show up on Wednesday night too? I don't think I can show up on Thursday night cause I have family stuff to do. It'll be my last night I can play FT at Socal for awhile.

Is anyone available to go at that time?

I'll be at AI on Thursday night - it's the usual Fri$co's, I-Club, Guitar Freaks, FT kind of evening.

Hey I tried to search this thread but can't seem to find stuff that is current. Where are all these VF gatherings? An address or maybe city would come in handy.

I'm a scrub at VF (I have only played Evo on console) but I love the game and want to get better.

Hello and welcome to the board.

The get-togethers usually happen on Thursday nights at Arcade Infinity. Their website is down right now so I can't find their address.

Here's some directions for you:

15 North, 60 West, pass the 71 and the 57, exit Fullerton, turn left, go under freeway, immediate left into Diamond Plaza. Arcade Infinity is at the far East end at the top of the stairs.

Alternately, you could go 91 West, 71 North, 60 West, pass the 57, etc.



The other location for get togethers is my house. My wife, Catherine, and I host VF all-nighters from time to time. They've been sparse 'cause of FT at Arcade Infinity. Trust that when VF5 comes to a console, there will be plenty more.

In the mean time, my house sees occasional Monday night sessions. They run from 7 to 10pm (I stop them at 10 sharp so I can get to sleep for work the next day). Usually they include GoatCheeseBlues and PhoenixDth plus Catherine and I. Recently SiLLyWiLLy and FatalRose have made an appearance. There's not much advance notice for Monday nights. Usually GoatCheeseBlues and I decide on a Monday afternoon to play that same night. You're invited to take part in these as is everyone else who wants to show. Make sure to contact me via PM or phone before just showing up.

How about we have another next thusday? Sadly I will not be able to make it this thursday, going on a family vacation. I am Dieing to play FT.

 

SoCal VF4:FT on Thursdays

Thursday sessions are extremely regular. I go pretty much every week and it's been months since I've been the only one there (even that was an isolated incident). Usually there are four to twelve people playing most of the evening.

Thursday FT exists mainly because it fits most SoCal VFers schedules as a night to come play at AI. The sessions run from around 7:30 or 8:00 till we're kicked out between midnight and 12:30 am.

I'll be there this Thursday as well as next and probably next next next....
