I am not in Fremont right now. My company is planning to send me over to Fremont in mid Sept for 3 weeks. Will you still be there by then? And how far is Fremont away from LA in terms of travelling time.

Andy and I will probably go to AI tomorrow... could someone in the Pamona/Rowland Heights area cofirm that the buttons are all working before about 5pm tomorrow?

Last week Andy and I sat there for 3 hours while we waited for the owner to show up, which he does at 9:30 to count his money. He obviously doesn't trust any of his employees with his precious gold: tokens, since none of them have keys to fix the machines.

I don't wanna drive 2 hours in traffic again to sit there for 3 hours, then get to play for an hour and a half.

BTW it'd be EXTREMELY easy to solder the wire to the switch so that this would never happen again. It's not even permanent, you can un-solder connections just as easily. There's only one reason not to: laziness.

I stopped by A.I. yesterday for some FT, but I noticed there was no card machine. What happened?

BTW, the 2P stick is still in bad shape. I'll see if I can stop by this thursday to meet up with you guys.

well, there was never a machine that sold cards, you have to buy them from the manager, who isn't there so much these days.

yeah, the sticks are kinda worn out. I don't have problems with other characters, but when I use Akira, modified DblPms can be tough.

hope you can make it this week, we usually start showing up around 7:00.

It feels good to be home again. Reno was cool... well, it was actually really hot and quite dry - made me miss having a little humidity. SoCal is the place for me.

I'll see you all tomorrow night for some FT after the usual Fri$co's/Guitar Freaks session with Glenn.

buttons should be good, i was there last night and tried both sides. the punch button on 2p was lil weird so i had the switch replaced, the owner also taped up the kick buttons for both sides with duct tape so the wires shouldn't come lose.

Nice session tonight, and welcome DRE to Sunny California^^. DRE's Akira is REALLY nice, probably the best SPOD'er I've ever seen, here or in Japan. Looking forward to playing much more /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif.

Wow! Last night was awesome. So good to finally play against SPoD... err... I mean ->cancel into (insert devastating move here)... no, no, that's not it... I mean <font color="blue">DRE</font>.

Good showing from SoCal in general. I'm really enjoying the weekly Thursday nights and it looks to be getting better.
