Joe from Hong Kong was at AI tonight. Tom added a loss to his Jacky (3-2). I added a loss to his Wolf (3-0). I thought my heart was going to explode.

two other players also were there tonight from family fun arcade in granada hills, was good to see other new players getting addicted to vf and starting to "see" whats going on hehe.

Joe only played like six or seven times, maybe less. His Wolf card had about 5000 wins and 3000 loses.

I played him twice. Once was the 3-0 (which will probably not happen anymore unless he gets up and goes to the restroom during our fight). I was doing weird shit like ducking throws randomly (probably by accident). No strategy except for hit checking and blocking and throw escapes (I escaped a freaking side-throw).

The second was vs. his Jacky (I forget if he had a Jacky card) later that evening. It was a very close 3-2 in his favor. I'm certain I was doing bizarre shit again. He ended with Jacky's half--circular low punch spin thingy. Would have been fun to reverse that. I went into both fights thinking "this will be fun. Let's see if I can beat this guy."

Tom used Goh to end Joe's Jacky streak of about 4 wins after that (he admitted Joe gave him a round).

That was pretty much it. Joe left pretty fast. I think he was there for 30 minutes max. Socal players were Catherine and I plus Tom and Alex. Two newer players were there. I don't know their names. Alex called them "The SNK Guys." I played Joe twice. Alex played him two or three times. Catherine played him once and Tom maybe twice. I don't know if the SNK guys fought him - maybe the Sarah player did. The Brad SNK guy - probably not.

Joe is supposed to show this Thursday at AI. I hope he's around and decides to play at the get-together on Saturday night.

yea in john... i guess my friend preda and i are "the snk guys"... im still new to the game for a month or so. but it was fun to play other ppl...
