Anyone in socal want to set up a meet for the weekend, my room is too small and burning hot (aka the fan broke). Wolf brian is "retired". Boston crew left for beantown. Just wondering if anyone in socal is still competitive. For some reason socal always slows down after a tourney.

Evo sticks under construction at the moment. Never soldered before. It, um... requires skill. No clue if I'll finish tonight.

I'll reserve my opinion about a meet this weekend (even a small one) until I'm done with the sticks.

Final Tuned coming next week or couple weeks

Hey guys, don't know if anyone remembers me but im the guy that "still" plays VF4 evo at AI, i even played tonight lol. I been busy for over the past year because of my new job but for past couple months i've been going back to AI. Because of my long term support of constantly pumping in tokens into the evo machine whenever im there and constantly bugging the owners. They informed me tonight that they have purchased final tuned.

Ken, one of the three owners, said that there was a recent upgrade to the final tune version in japan? So that is why they were slow in getting it. They didn't want what happened last time with evo to happen again, as when ver.b came out and everyone stopped going to AI heh.

Ken told me the machine should be here end of next week, but i don't know the exact date so don't hold me to having it next week but im sure it'll be here within couple weeks. I myself will be at AI daily as usual playing evo with goh,aoi, and now learning shun. Now i gotta do some research about FT. @_@)b

Player 1 joystick is broken, it hits and perfectly but it gets wacky when i hit the

I noticed this when i played my first set against ticky about 2-3 months ago and it got worse when i was playing against brian and cappo around 4-5 weeks ago. Hopefully we can have working sticks with final tuned /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

They listened to the Socal group about upgrading to the newer version...Props to AI...maybe no EVO2k5 next year maybe VF FT solo tourney instead

Oh, yeah - Kimble mod done (thanks again, Alex, for your offer to help). Sticks work. Figure I'll practice VF basics at home to prepare for what will hopefully be regular get-togethers at AI. Every other Friday night sounds decent to me.

oh god, some of those chicks at AI are FINE.... as well as the surrounding mall... I remember my first time at Diamond Bar, there was the finest chinese girl in the world working at Ten Ren's... I couldn't believe it...=P
