where is there a place where I can park for like overnight parking?
ie. I'm not interested in getting a ticket while I'm away from my car...although Cal Poly is a gov't institution so...
but I'm interested...
just wanted to ask if you're planning on staying for the whole thing, cuz I was and if you gotta go early or something then I'd be stuck there or have to leave early

last time I went we went 'til like 8 in the morning, which was fun, even though last part of it, we were all pretty tired so we just watched Andy and Alex playing Jacky mirror matches...that was fun too

Edit: actually, considering the fact that you might plan on staying the whole time in Riverside...maybe you might be willing to drive a little extra to get to my place, which is roughly 15 min. from Cal Poly...but I don't mind driving if there's a safe place to park at Cal Poly Pomona...otherwise I'll take a lift from anyone

reason I asked Pomona peeps is cuz they're just so close, but if it's not out of your way, then just PM me and I'll send you an address and/or directions if you need both...thx

Sure, I can pick you up from your location so that you won't have to park anywhere. I was planning on getting some sleep though so as long as plague has a couch for me to crash on, I don't mind staying till the next morning or when the party is over.

So uh, plague? Got a couch somewhere for me to crash on when I get sleepy?

Plenty of soda with caffeine for you in the fridge plus a Starbucks not too far away.

There are plenty of places to sit (two couches, two recliners, one rocking chair) that you could probably fall asleep on (provided that you can sleep in a sitting position). There's normally way too many people around for someone to take a whole couch. The dining room set chairs don't really work for naps. No beds available.

I'm taking that as a "yes, you can take up one seat sitting up to sleep but don't think you're gonna hog 3 spaces on a couch" /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif I can sleep sitting up, no prob! Maybe I won't be able to sleep but if you don't mind, I might want to try.

Hah, I find it hard to believe that LPC Brian has never fallen asleep at your house. I've probally seen him sleeping more than i've ever seen him awake.

I regret to inform you that I won't be there tonight. Here's the facts:

1) I enjoy VF
2) I enjoy sex more
3) VF is going on tonight
4) the possibility of sex is going on tonight
5) Pai has cute polygons
6) The girl I'm going out with tonight has NO polygons.

So...sorry guys. It's alright, you guys will survive without another newb to kick around! I guess I'll catch you "next time"...so keep me posted on that!

Hey Ken_I, don't know if you tried calling me earlier but I wasn't by my phone. Anyway, I'm heading home from work. Gonna get a little grub and pick up my joystick. I'll wait till 8:00pm to see if you're gonna try to reach me. Gonna head towards riverside after that but give me a call anyway. If I'm not too far from pomona by the time you call, I'll swing by.

It's time to play in SoCal

Killer get together. This one officially ran till 8:30 am Saturday.

Big thanks to Spotlite, Andy, PhoenixDth (especially for bringing the Texas TV), Sean, GoatCheeseBlues, LPC73, Ken_I, sgtsmurf, and Jake for making the trip to our house.

We had 4 setups running and lots of equipment for everyone... very cool, I must say.

just a quick question to either Spotlite or Plague:
I was wondering whose Evolution guide book that was on the table, although I'm guessing it was Bryan's, but I've seen his and his is emerald green color, while the one I saw at Plague's house was blackish...basically my question is

where did you get this book?
If it was Japan, then nevermind, however if you know a place in Southern California, then I'd be more than willing to go there and purchase it, even though Evo Sticks from Japan are like $20-$30 when I ended up getting ripped off for purchasing one that was available at a japanese store for $50 but went to a chinese store which was the wrong place and eventually paid $70 for it (ouch!!! /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif)

My book is the VF4 Red Book. Red cover with Akira on it, black spine. It does not include Evo. Catherine ordered it and the Blue Book for my birthday in 2002. The Blue Book was out of stock by then. She ordered domestically but doesn't remember where.

I've seen the White Book (Spotlite had it while we all were in Texas). I believe it covers Evo (as does the Green Book).
