If your favorite character could get 3 new moves...

If my favorite character (Aoi) could get three new moves..

1, 2, & 3: High, middle, and low midair attack reversals.

I mean.. she's the #1 reversal character AND the easiest to float. This would also give AM2 a chance to give Aoi some incredibly unique/flashy moves. I imagine they could be like her down attack reversals.. no guranteed damage but gets her back on her feet.

 

Some shun di chugging move

 

OK Kage should get:

1. A super meter
2. AHVB
3. FRCs for ++ and ++

that would be fair I think.

 

id like Goh to have more low throws all with different directions. i also hate the fact that u can escape the low TGrab Goh has since its escapable wen its executed anyways. id also want Goh to have a two-move canned combo with his legs that executes and recovers fast but does little damage (ex. he could have another kick like + except faster and with another kick added and hits high like Pai's where both kicks execute consecutively very quickly except he'll use only one foot). and since he's a throwing kinda guy, he could have another catch throw that isnt escapable.

 

How about a mid spin kick like Jacky's for Sarah? She is a Jeet Kune Do master herself after all! That would probably put her into the Top Tier ranks!

And how about a move for shun where he slugs so much alchohol (50+frames? For after-match drinking /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif) at once that it goes all over him, that would be funny.

 

I think Goh needs a dash in sucker punch like Jin from Tekken 4, lol. RP.

I think the catch throw should include Diagonals cos it's far to easy to escape 4 directions, I mean as soon as u get caught with it just slam in and ur bound to escape.

And third I think he needs a ~ situation. It would help a lil in the throwing games.

This is not a Goh one but I still think Brad needs a low throw like Jeff's Low throw Knee one.

-Give her elbow and knee reversals. Without them, her reversals are just too risky to use. I mean Aoi, Akira and Pai have them. May be add in the somersault rev, too.

Aoi
- As aforementioned, some sort of a Guard move. Something that does no damage, but tweaks the frame situations when executed, to better Aoi's situation. I mean, I'm not exactly talking alpha counters, but something along the lines.

- POTEMKEEEEEEN BUSTAAAAAH!!!!
- Seriously, I also say do something with his knee. Make it like before, or perhaps make it an entirely different move- say a knee hit throw like Vanessa or something.


And a ground multi throw for all of the above three. Well, Aoi sort of has it in with her current multi throw, but only in animation. I.e., it's a standing throw, gameplay wise. I wish the above three had something like Aoi's multi throw, but that begins with a ground throw. May be for Goh, too.

 

Kage needs a god damn better throwing game... TFT (+) is escaped 90% of the time and same with +, I say, give Kage hit throw or some kind of +.

 

I wish Kage could have a 3-hit move. It would be +~During Hit+~During Hit+. The + part is like from DP to a Knee and + is like after the knee, he grabs the opponents body in midair and does a nose dive just like the TFT follow-up.

 

Another throw direction for Kage? Hahaha, good one. Oh.....you're serious....?

Why not give him Aoi's reversals and a while we're at it?

His throw game doesn't need improving, it's already better than Jeff's

Go re-learn him / her and you will see you don't need all this BUUUUUULLLLLLLLLLLLLSSSHHHIIIIIIITTTT! And if you feel you still need it after re-learning. Then keep dreaming, because your wishes is nevah going to come true. But, I guess that's the point of this thread. A dreamer's thread. haha umm the thread isn't something that can be remotely taken into serious consideration, so yes you're right in saying that all this IS basically dreaming, and I'm not/wasn't saying anything about Kage "needing" whatever, I was simply following on the TOPIC, which is if he COULD get some new moves what WOULD they be. So-fucking-rry if I made a mistake in interpreting the topic.

Everyone knows Kage desperately needs , and throws. TFT should automatically ring the opponent out, even over high walls. I'd also give him some sort of projectile, like a fireball or something. Huge, guard-breaking fireballs......

 

I applaud the sarcasm, look, I am not sure if that was directed at me personally or not but it really doesn't feel too great when you've already said you're sorry and people keep mentioning wtv they think you did wrong. I just interpreted the topic as: 'if your character could get some more moves what would they be?' And if I was so wrong, then I apologize, and I guess I'll have to apologize for everyone from page 1 (and down) on this thread, if you guys haven't read those, then read them, I THINK they're basically the same idea as what I suggested, but of course I am wrong beyond all reasonable doubt.

well since we are dreaming... i guess the only thing I would wish for is: if akira reverses a +. I think he should win the round by default. I think that when he takes his arm and slams it into his opponents back he should just split him in 2 with blood spirting every where and a banner comes across the top of the screen reading "REVERSE-ALITY" and then the announcer in a mortal kombat tone voice says "to much low punching is for the weak... you SUCK! muuuhahahahhahaha!"

yea, that would be my dream move. Why wish for a super bar, or fireball when you could have a REVERSE-ality!
