If you bought the first VF4 on PS2, are you still getting VF4 EVO?

I will buy the PS2 version.
If a better version comes to XBOX, then I think that it would be time to buy Bill's Machine.

I totally agree with u man. Evolution would be better on ps2 because of its graphics, gameplay and control. As well as the many new hidden features! I would hate playing a great game like evolution on an x box controller....lol

Urm, playing it on a dualshock is not much better then playing it on the stock XBox controller.
Maybe even worse then playing it on the controllerS.
Anyone worth a lick plays with a stick anyway.

think of the gc controller. i can hardly get used to playing super smash bros on that thing. it's format is all confusing even if you've been using it a while.

edit: can you change your user name?

Because we all know Japanese in a day books are the best things to help improve reading comprehension and martial-arts/specialized terminology, both of which are very thickly layered on in the training mode.

Give the language some damn respect, and take a class or something.

PS2 has always ported from arcades smoother than Xbox or GC. And Xbox hasn't been a real shining example of a fighter console. Fighting games don't fit the GC demographic at ALL and Microsoft doesn't seem too keen on anything but action games and first person shooters. If it DOES port to Xbox after PS2 I will be extremely shocked and eat my hat.
I'm still sitting on the fence about Evo. The graphical improvements have to be extremely nice because I still use S-vid cables on my main TV. I'm also not too keen on having to re-learn Vane's new offensive stance. CPU got tougher? Oh great... I spend months trying to rank up after the Dans as it is. Two new fighters is a nice bonus tho but until I see them in action (under my control as a renter) I'm not shelling out for an import. Seems Quest mode is just Kumite with a different framework which is nothing at all to get me excited. There has to be some underlying fundamental change in Evo that makes it a BETTER playing experience and not just a reworking of VF4. Or at least enough new gameplay options to keep the game feeling fresh.
And with Soul Calibur II coming on PS2 this year... I'll just have another great fighter to take my time away from VF.

Ali, posting that is the same as calling him a retard, as I'm sure you're aware. If you have a point to make, make it. If you don't have a point and just want to call someone names, don't post.

    Thats a fair cop.
What does he go by to make the claims he is making?
Games like TTT wich ran on inferior hardware in arcades or games like T4 wich ran on the same hardware?
Using that yardstick all three consoles have smooth arcade versions, even if some of the arcade versions were/are released after the console versions(HoTD3 for instance).
Seriously, what yardstick are you using to claim that PS2 does smoother convertions from arcade to home then say the GC did with Beach spikers?
