    Will another gathering/tourney has come and gone. Its was full of funny moments, near upsets, suprising gameplay, and a really really fucked up food bill.

    First Props to my hommies in NYC. Thank you for opening your home up for the rest of us. The confrenece room was cool and the tournament was very nice. I like how you guys had a Japanese brackets poster. Nice Touch.

    It was great seeing my hommie Kyasao again. He is Mr. VF in my opinion. BrumBrum and Hereru, you guys are great. I hope to see you guys in the future. We had some good times.

    Ohio-I was very surprised with all of you. From what I heard and such, I thought you guys didnt play at all. But I was very wrong and you guys where a strong group. Just keep playing, YOu guys got it.

    Strider- Great games at the end of the week. Lau wolf is a fun match. Next time we go to 80. Also thanks for translating for me when Kazu was too busy getting some lol. Your going to Japan in March, No question about it.

    Pretty much everyone played very well and I had a great time. Special shout out to my team-mates Will and Vulcan. Nice play guys.

    2. Adam playing Dai 80 matches Jeff vs Jeff. Crazy
    3. Paying 466 dollars for italian food.

    It was fun watching Kyasao prove once again why he's the best.

    Thanks to Burun Burun and Heruru for making the trip. Very strong as we all expected. I hope they had as much fun as we did.

    Going to the I <3 VF Tourney was a real eye opener for me. I witness lots of awesome matches and had an enjoyable time at the gathering/tourney. Did not get to play as much games and with everybody as I would have liked but overall it was still an awesome gathering.

    NY Crew: Props to AdamYUKI in organizing the event. NY have a great VF scene. Great to meat everyone and props go to Kazu, GhettoShun, and Konjou Akira for doing well in the tournament also. Hammerhead, with such a big scene in NY, u need to play more VF. Thanks to u, Virtuapai, and ? (sorry, cannot remember your nam, the one who played many characters) for gettiing us back to the hotel.

    Florida Crew: Nice to meet all the FL crew. Props to Jedi for helping out in the tournament bracket. Stomp your Shun was off the hook in the tourney. Dre, you are so good with so many different characters was impressive. Ghostdog sorry i did not get any games with u. IMF, nice to see you again.

    Throwmasta and Frank: You guys are really cool and glad to have u guys as roommates. Frank you are an transformers expert, Throwmasta I really like your crosshanded playing Wolf.

    SuperG: Nice to meet, i'll send u the bill for the toilet. /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Seriously, though, sorry I did not get any games in with your Jacky.

    Srider: Thanks for some of the Pai pointers. Again, sorry I did not get much games in with u.

    To UK Crew: Nice meeting you RyanHart and congrats to you and Dai for getting second.

    To Japan Crew: Wow...never heard so mank FUKK in one night /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif It was a great pleasure to see top level japanese play from u guys. Thanks for the gifts.

    Ohio Crew: KTD and Dandy_J glad to have u guys come with me to NY. I am really sorry about the accident and also having to listen to my "old mcdonald have a farm, yada yada do" and whatever crud i was singing coming back to OH. Most likely see u guys in New Year.

    *Jedi's Tonfa dance at the pizza place
    *Me missing him on the picture twice for the group pic at the pizza place
    *Heruru busting out laughing when he found out we call him Clark Kent of VF
    *Everyone busting out harder when I said, Ghostdog is known in north America as Dalhsim.
    *Getting a chance to play the Japanese and Uk and not totally embarrassing myself.
    *hitting the start button after Wolf said Shut up. That got a ton of people laughing.
    *beating Burun Burun and him giving me his Lion card for beating him in the tourney
    *The cheesiest name for a team was given by the cheesiest master of them all shou-sama. (The American Alliance)
    *practicing my mandarine with Srider
    *grudge matches versus Throwmasta at the last night. 50 matches of hell
    *Kyasoa yelling pad power when I beat Rodney aka Konjou akira
    *Burun Burun's revenge matches against me that ended up being me getting owned. I moved like an old man afterwards. I think he's ready for beat tribe because of me. haha jk.
    *pad players uniting. (supergolden, kungfusmurf, Vith, and the two Lion players I played against, also a Jacky player from ctf that came to the hotel)
    *Getting our flight cancelled but bumped to an earlier and faster flight.
    *All the Taiwanese jokes I could handle in one weekend.
    *Mark's additional set up on my hotel room. (hammerhead) The lcd screen with the speakers were perfect for the tiny room. Thanks again.
    *Thank you to kungfusmurf and hammerhead and others for letting me use their cell phones.
    *meeting my non vf gamer friend at the tourney and him saying he wants to get into this game.

    I had more but I am out.

    Thanks to everyone that I got a chance to play and meet. Thanks to the hydra crew for cheering me on.

    kyasao - same old kyasao - funny guy, very friendly and such... his kage is the flash....

    heruru:
    killer lei fei... really good at a quick lil dance to get you to freeze up and throw... loves his charge attack with lei fei... seemed a bit defensive at times with the back turned stuff...

    burun burun:
    THE MAN! his wolf was really fast, and fun to watch... his pai was INSANE... he had a 20+ streak going one night and I'm not sure if anyone beat him... and he looked half asleep too.. sheesh... and also, he is a metalhead! we talked a lot about bands we both liked, it was pretty damn cool... the ringtone on his cellphone was "enter sandman" by metallica... his fav metallica albulm/song is master of puppsets (same as mine)! rock!

    cyc: a bit older than the other guys, but was friendly and such... seemed to have a good time - played mostly aoi, didn't get to see much of her but she looked strong...

    UK Tetsujins:
    Ryan Hart: nice to see you back for more! he was really strong all weekend, and had a great showing in the tournament... he looked even stronger than last time at the top gun tournament... great execution on combos and throw escapes and the like...

    dai (aka odu modu): i didn't see him play as much as ryan, but his jeffry is really strong... thanks also for translating for us! /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

    American players:
    adamYUKI: first off thanks a lot of organizing this event and hosting people at your house throughout the week... i can only imagine how much stress that could be... though i had a great time and really appreciate all the work you did... you are hardcore! i didn't get to play against you all that much unfortunatley, but your jeffry is killer!

    imf: good stuff man... your movement is fast and furious and definatley something to aspire too... his hydra step is lethal and is now fully integrated into his game... he is much faster than when i last played him at top gun, and almost a different player from the one rich and i met down in florida last march...

    shou: your sarah is very effective and has gotten better than last time... you play close up similar to how i'd like to with jacky, with elbow delay attack throw mixups and the like... but you have a deadly dragon cannon launcher to look out for, as well as flamingo stance ... good stuff... when my bro comes home from japan, we are going to have a "peer counseling bitch session" where we just complain about sarah heheh...

    konjou: thanks for helping to organize the event and stuff... good games...

    ghettoshun: only got to play you once i think... good stuff though...

    stomp: the pad man! thanks a lot for bringing the pads... was great hanging out with you again... nice showing in the tournament too! i was upset namflow couldn't be there, but seeing you taking names with shun on a pad made up for it /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif represent! my only advice would be not to forget about shun's new moves he gets with more drinks... they are good, and can only help your game! you got sober shun down good though...

    dre: nice showing in the tournament... you look very strong with many characters! i think you should play lei fei more, you got me good in the tournament (revenge for TiT I guess hehe)...

    jedi: good to see you again... thanks for helping organize the tournament and stuff...

    tim from stl: i was glad i got to play you kage vs kage... had fun talking strats with you and the ohio kage player (dandy right? sorry i can't get your names straight)

    kage player from ohio: was fun playing with you and talking strats and flash and the like...

    throwmaster: i'm sorry i didn't get to play you at all, although watching you play crosshanded wolf was nice... i wish i could have made it to one of your gatherings?

    vthos (i think): didn't get to play you, but had a lot of fun talking to you while waiting to play

    highlights for me:
    -ryan hart vs kyasao in the final match --- you couldn't have asked for a closer or more exciting final match...

    -watching "Wild On" (aka pg girls gone wild e! entertainment tv show) in the hotel room with the japanese guys... jedi's description of an easy girl ("drink, drink, drink.... FUCK!" complete with hand motions and pelvic thrusts was hilarious)

    Teams of 3 were randomly placed into 2 brackets (A & B) where everyone fought round robin style. The top 2 teams in each bracket went to the finals. Placing was done by drawing #s from a box and it was single elimination.
