Video makes me want to watch Trainspotting again, been a while since I watched that movie.

I'm pretty much all ready for the trip up to Glasgow.

 

Travel, accommodation and event entry, definitely ready. Gameplay wise, not a chance.

 

Got my ticket now. Should get to buying coach ride and grabbin a cheap hotel room. Any recommendations?

Getting mine Saturday, left getting my event ticket to last minute as I had a lot of other stuff to sort out.

Hope we get a bigger turnout than six people

Unfortunately, I'm really busy with all sorts of things right now and I've gotta set my priorities.

Travelling to Scotland to play VF over the weekend isn't one of them right now =(

It's just people wanting to leave it to the last minute. I already got mine, so that's something, I suppose.

 

Manjimaru confirmed to come. I have paid flight+hotel tickets now.

I should arrive on Glasgow international airport around 7 pm on friday. Will leave monday around noon. I will be staying at the thistle hotel.

edit: alls done, I have registered to the event now too. Only VF tourney. If it looks like fun, I can participate other tourneys for shit and giggles too (Ive only ever touched SF4 and UMVC3, but Im noob), but I dont pre-register, cause I dont want to take time off casuals in my main game.

I was very suprised to read about the small number of registered entrants for the VF tournament. I voted for VF because at the time I believed I could have attended, but as the event has creeped up on me I've had alot to do and have been using whatever time/money I have for playing games supporting my local scene. As well as being busy trying to find work and the like (I also haven't played (or been following) VF seriously in about a year).

I hope this doesn't affect VF's consideration as a big game for other UK events in the future. I'm sure the UK playerbase will grow with new players and the returning vets alike. Mad props to Seidon for really pushing for the game to appear.

Props to everyone who did vote and will be in attendance though, good luck, have fun and show everyone in the UK just how awesome VF is.

 

Just confirmed I can get a holiday for the Monday. Only problem is that I would need to fly out Saturday. Will there be a VF tournament?

I haven't been keeping up at all.

 

No idea what day the tournament will be on but the event starts pretty early Saturday.

 

Early Saturday to late Sunday. Tourneys will probably start around mid-day saturday after everyone has settled in.
