Movies on HK-VF.Net can no longer be downloaded via http, editing the URL, etc.

This is mainly due to too many people direct linking to their movies, and you were told not to! /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif

As a result the movies must be streamed, but if you really wish to download them you can copy the mms:// link into your favourite streaming recorder (like FlashGet).

I think Kage's new stance is more similar to Brad's than Sarah's or Lei Fei's. In other words, I'm betting that he's at disadvantage if the opponent blocks the attack that leads to the new stance, and he doesn't have any sabakis or evade type attacks from stance to retaliate with.

For example, if Kage does [2][P]+[K] -> new stance, I'd guess that any quick attack (like a punch, low punch, or elbow) would interrupt anything that Kage could follow up with in stance. Kage would pretty much have to do the stance back dashing thing in that case. Just a theory for now, could be wrong.

I am not sure how attacks like P or d+P will hit into his new stance, if he will just stand in it. I think this stance works similar to Lei's Defeat-Miss System...

Has anyone watched this Brad vs Pai vid 2006-7-27_baamPAvsBR.wmv

In it, Pai does P+K twice to get two bounces in a combo. What does everyone think about this? Makes me shudder to think if anyone else can do that.

FN_01005 is a good showcase for Blaze's running stance.

FN_01019. Kage, three spikes, no wall or anything.

It also took like no damage. It was cool though that you can rebounce 3 times. I think he was just showing off.

This sounds similar to VF4:Evo and FT when I do Akra's low rising foot crumple - I can knee off the ground only three times if the opponent doesn't tech. The fourth knee will whiff no matter what.

VF5 bounces can be slam-teched the last I heard.

High Kick (JE) vs Jin (KA)

Nice combo at the start of the 2nd Round. Jin does [6][K]+[G] (bounce) ~ [2][P] ~ [6][6][P]+[K] (bounce) ~ [2][K]+[G]

    FN_01070
Naruhodo Yamaneko (PA) vs Higema (BR)

Higema's Brad showcases some nice crumble combos.

    0:28 - [1][P] (foot crumble) ~ [6][6][P]+[K][P][6] ~ (ducking) [K]

which is then followed up by some nice ukemizeme:

    [2][P]+[K]+[G][2] ~ (phasing turn) [P]+[K][2][1] ~ (slip right) [P] ~ [6][6][P]+[K][P][6] ~ (ducking) [P][P]

and then a sneaky "long ducking" into throw for the finish:

    [6][P]+[K]+[G][6] ~ [P]+[G]

[1] The "Double Crusher", (phasing turn) [P]+[K], looks like a double-limbed attack (punch+knee) since Brad counter hits Pai whilst she's in the motion of a reversal or inashi. Finally, a double limbed attack for Brad!

I didn't know Brad's new [6][6][P]+[K] uppercut string was a "two in one" (Like the second [K] of Sarah's [3][K][K]). I thought it was "[6][6][P]+[K][P]", just like his other new uppercut string; [3][3][P][P].

The "phasing turn" (Is that the offical name?) [P]+[K] actually hits with Brad's elbow and knee (it's a variant of his [4][6][K]+[G], Pap Sao Kao at least in appearance in that he strikes with a side "chopping" elbow and knee rather than a vertical one in the former's case).

You'd think they'd give [4][6][K]+[G] "double limb" status if they do so for this new move...

    Regarding FN_01090, 2006-7-29_KAGE_vs_MakkoiBRAD.wmv:

0.23: It seems like Brad's [4][6][K] (Step Change Knee) has finally been made viable. It looks faster than in VF4 and still packs a punch. Good stuff. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Holy Batman, check out up0200.wmv, Jeffry vs. Lei Fei!

SE against the wall at a sideway angle -> OM K -> backbreaker -> small pounce = 150 points damage?!? Wow.

That was a typo on my part and is now corrected. There should have been a second [P].

As best I could tell from the official name written in katakana.

I appreciate everyone doing quality control by chiming in about which clips they find interesting, but could you please use the blog post # for reference? (as in Myke's post for example) This allows one to do a search on the page for the post in question rather than sifting through links individually.

    Again thanks for posting.

Edit: Actually nm as file names can be searched with the page's search function. My method was merely allow someone quick access using their browser's built in "FInd" function. (allows for a faster search w/o having to load another or leave the page)

A good Brad clip showcasing some new moves is at:

    FN_01161
    2006-7-29_23_40_ISIII(WO)_vs_Itoshun(BR).wmv

Notice the new [2][P]+[K]+[G][2] spin move avoiding Wolf's high throws around the 30 second mark. /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

    Interesting new combos too.
