Its not a fast kick at all. Coming in at 17f on execution its not likely to beat out someones counter, if they know what they are doing. For example, using it after a flash kick, it wouldn't work. Its just too slow. I use that example because following that kick a player will usually try to do something.

I found that this kick is useful most during a bait game and sometimes following failed evades. But as you put it, I don't think its best.

Actually high angle kick is a great option out of flash kick on hit and espcially on CH due to the fact that the launcher becomes a 9 frame move on hit and a 3 frame move respectively so there is a good chance if they attack you'll be hitting them out of stuff. 17F is more than enough time to get a move off but you can't just be randomly throwing it out there, you need to be using it more as a punisher for people who refuse to block when they put themselves in minor disadvantage (i.e. an opponent who after having an attack blocked that puts them at -6 doesn't decide to fuzzy guard but decides to attack again) will eat this move a lot. It's also good as a delayed attack too since it has a longer startup.

I have tried it with flash and it just never seems to work that well. I also found it was one of those moves that was just too risky following flash, compared to my other options. I think I will play with it some more though.

Not trying to be a dick, but looking at the frames-if it's not working out for you then you're not dexterous enough to do it without losing your frames because this is nitaku we're really talking about here. It works real well on paper and has been done to me by Denkai and Glory, they made me respect the kick. his 4K+G to cancel back dash's is also another one of those annoying moves like high angle kick haha.

The key to using it is understanding that it's a move that takes planning and conditioning to hit. It takes a premeditated situation for it to come out as expected because of the 33 execution. Practice on buffering the motion after your attacks.
