Sorry man, I don't know why but sometimes my connection is godly and others times it's slow as hell. Need to figure out why but in the mean-time it's luck of the draw. [IMG]

In response to your edit, after our serious games at start I began to troll at the end cause it was too laggy, you couldn't even punish my sledge! Doesn't mean I want to leave though... [IMG]

GGs to SDS. Fun set. I was really worked on footies against Jacky so I can feel more free to step and know that I'm safe from a counterpoke. Then mix it up with up close in your face mixups once I've gotten you on the ground. Rinse repeat. Good times

GG's Trickster.. you really did a excellent job on Mixing up the throw game on me.. I was off balance and all mess up. Glad you learning how to space against Jacky cause you will need it since his strike game is incredible. Stop telegraphng the throws being so methodical. Its makes it that much easier for me to avoid them and counter attack.. Try going for the [3][K] or elbow just one more time if you feel you need to throw. See what you get next time.. Thank me later lol!!!

Got crushed by Happy Friend's Lau 26 times in a row. I'm slow to adapt some nights. Thanks for that, man.

When you say the throw mix ups were good are you talking about my choice in throw directions or when I'm choosing to throw vs circular vs linear strikes? I'm guessing your talking about the directions since the throws were telegraphed. Only having 4 throw directions forces you to make good use of the mixups, I can't wait till FS so that I have a 1/3rd chance of hitting with throws rather than 1/4th.

Oh and what do you mean by too methodical? I ask cuz I want to know what you mean so that I can apply my focus to adress your point.

Btw your defense is Rick solid. I was able to start using delayed attacks to try and upset your rythem to great effect. That stuff doesn't work so well unless my opponent is defending as regularly as u were with fuzzy.

In VF5C you have the probability of not landing a throw at all if your character only has 4 ending throw directions. A defending person can potentially input 4 unique throw escape inputs within the buffer to escape throws.

In FS, only one throw escape will register within the escape buffer so its a 1/3 guess since every character has 3 ending throw inputs.

It's mechanically imposible though right? Like that window for the 4th escape is crazy small. Knowing Jp players I'm sure some of them use it to get that extra edge once every so many matches.

It is humanly possible to place 4 unique throw escape inputs within the buffer after a throw but its very hard. In VF5:C you have 11 frames to input an escape after a throw attempt (10f before a throw attempt).

Three is not too hard which is why advanced players never attempt a guaranteed low throw. Low throws only have 3 ending inputs(Jeffry, Wolf).

In VF4:E there are training exercises you can practice both scenarios.

I think some people (KoD & Myke) tested with a programmable controller and were able to get 5 which is the max. They concluded a human could not be so precise.

Well shit I forgot about that. Even more reason for us Eileen players to be happy about the new throw system. This knowledge actually answers some questions I had about some players who would break all my throws. I recall there being a trade off though. Like you couldn't eteg only ete. There was some limitation I just can't remember what.

When your choosing to throw especially when im evading i always protected against [6][P]+[G] and [3][P]+[G] which was your main habits.. But you mixed in Neutral along with [4][P]+[G]. Shit had me off balance for while..Good job.

During our Brad - Goh matches, I was not really paying attention to what you were doing.
I was mostly trying to remember Goh's moves. [IMG]
...But I remember feeling annoyed thinking that the pace was really slow. Maybe there was not enough shoo shoo from you and too much long range poking from us both. I was to blame for that too.

My Eileen should be much weaker than my Goh, and she was usually beating your Akira, so I think it's a sign that maybe you should put him aside for now and concentrate a little more on Blaze and Brad...
The way I see it, your Blaze is already quite strong, and Brad might require a little more work, but if you stick to him, it will probably help you in the long term.
I get the impression that this guy really requires finesse, but keeping your front and back constantly in mind for purposeful shoo shoo might be too much yet. You're the judge on that. At least I know I wouldn't be comfortable with that yet.

Your Blaze was fun to fight against, and the difficulty you gave me with him was impressive considering I have more experience in general and am only concentrating on one character! I played him a little bit in the past, so I know his strings, and I often play like a boring robot, that's why your delayed stuff rarely worked on me. Hopefully next time I will be more adaptive and allow more interesting mind games.

Finally like I said in PMs, during our Pai - Blaze matches I was mostly doing my best to win, because I need to shake off my bad habits. In the other matches, I didn't care so much since I was just trying to remember the moves. So again I was really surprised by your Blaze.

Er wait, who was Lucky, me or Lucky? [IMG]

ggs though. I had to switch to Lau vs. all those friggin Tranny property moves that my simple Jeff can't deal with very well... I like to play Jeff a lot, but I don't have the knowledge or patience to do well with him in some matchups.

Plague, ggs... you were beating me at first but when you started freezing up against the Lau rush it was Happy Time. Probably the full continental US lag made it even worse w/ all those small dis situations. Maybe Lau needs da peenie reduction surgery.
