Yeah, Wolf is fun and hopefully we can have FS asap. Sorry I had to leave without sending a gg message, something interrupted.

 

GGs Marly, Pupstar, AkiraZero, Seidon, Shidosha, Chief_Flash, EmX, ShinjukuATM, Abarick, Krye, Acrylic Hobo, Infamous Geezer, Weiand, Settra, Ad4m and many others I played lately. Fun games all of them. And GGs to this MoonKugan guy whoever he is, great player!

 

I have fun lately playing games with Titan Tony, Black LAC, JunoSynth, Social Ruin, Chief Flash, EMX, SHadoolord, Animal Staccato, and everybody else I can't remember... and AddyPaddy stopped the DMPK onslaught.

I'm excited for the FS and even though VF5 has some issues (as does online) it is pretty amazing that it is still fun to play after all these years. I can't wait to slap a white Speedo on Jeff and get my tussle on!

GGs to Gentleman Thief. It's been a long time since we played and it was a lot of fun. Your style changed a lot from, what I believe was a few years ago when we played more regularly. I like the new fighting style you've developed which is more in your face. It also feels really fair when we're playing, when I lose I just feel like I was outplayed, and when I win I understand why I won. It's just fun to be playing again man.

Yesterday (Sunday) was the first day I was able to play VF5 -- offline or online -- in a long while and, heh, boy do I have some things to work on. Props to Blossy1000, HappyFriend Lau, Titantony99, Ced h Tone and Shun Is Drunk for the lengthy sets of matches. Thanks also to Cole971 and pupstar for the games we played.

It feels good just to get back in the mix and be actively involved with VF5 once again.

GGs to happyfriend the other night. I always been rather cautious, holding back offensively, observing during advantage. execution wise my timing is off with some of leifei moves or better yet hesitant with some of his flowcharts.As for my SFIV TE arcade stick my guard button keeps sticking more often lol.

Good games to THE WALL, newcomer Rd01dk and the very long set of ridiculous matches with someone from Japan named yone884 last night. I wish I had something set up to record at least some of the madness that was going on in those Pai vs. Aoi battles.

Well, $2 for two months of Xbox Live was too good to refuse, so it looks like I'll be back online again for the next couple of months. GGs to HappyFriend and Neo 1152. It's nice to see there are still a few holdouts around to keep the online scene alive.

 

GGs to Waverusher Kobi. It's nice to play in a mostly solid connection. Hopefully we can play offline someday.(^_^)

GGs to everybody i played this saturday evening: jean quorantin, Ad4m, Blossy, Cole971, MoonKugan (OK this must be somebody from VFdc, otherwise he would have left as soon as he streaked me 7-0, not wait for the 10-0 ; come on, don't be shy, who's messing around with alt account again? ), WesXseW (new recruit to VF i think?) and

Apologies if somebody sent me an invite and i missed it, i'm trying to correct some exam papers at the same time, i promised myself "10 minutes reading, 1 session, 10 minutes reading, 1 session etc."

It felt like this has been the busiest night in VF since 2010, every time i hosted i didn't have to wait more than a couple of seconds for somebody to join. Hype?!

 

Apologies to DrFamilia. I lost connection with you midway through one of our matches and still don't know how. Regardless, it was good to meet up with you again after a while. Let's resume our battles soon.

Also really good games to AkiraZero with his stylin' Kage, BLACK L A C x, Blossy1000, WesXseW, and DisjointPanic for the sets of matches I played with all of you this afternoon. I'm not pleased at how I'm defending against certain things at the moment, but I'll learn and get things shored up eventually.

@ Erdraug: I had some ggs with WesXsew too. I guess he must be a newer player. I had a fun time against him/her the other day.

GGs to Blossy, Akirazero, Lucky_GT, Dennis, and the other folks I've been finding online l8ly. I worked on my movement so now I actually can get around the ring quickly. It really opened up a lot of doors for my overall playstyle and wish I had put in the time to that skill sooner. I feel like just learning how to move more effectively has lveled me up more than I could have imagined.

There are very few situations where I end up feeling helpless now, there is always an answer on m fingertips now. I also spent some time in training mode working on reacting to if I've gotten a CH or NH off my 6P+K, so that I can combo into 236KKK on CH's. I recently learned that if I set the computer to attack mid or throw after blocking (and I attack with P) I end up getting a CH if they do a mid and I get a NH if they throw. VERY useful tool that I thought I'd share. If people already knew this, then damn I'm late to the party.

Got a lot of stuff going on and it's all trying to get in the way of VF... if only I was a teenager again :{ lol

Hey guys, GGs to all of you still playing VF online... and to all of you playing all challengers, even if it's for at least 3-5 matches, you're fucking awesome.
Let's keep pulling people in by playing them for more than just 1 match.

There's a lot of new players out there eager to learn VF, a friendly "ggs, check out virtuafighter.com" message can be very encouraging and help grow the VF scene even more.

 

erdraug the only thing that was getting annoying with your style was this turtling mid range with vanessa then waiting until i come close then using mid kick then Rinse and repeat! Apart from that there were some cool rounds.
