First time playing again in a long time and I was lucky enough to play mirror with Denkai! At first I got a few 2/3 win streaks but then Denkai decided to amp it up to the next level and I got destroyed 11 games in a row!

Very fun games though, some funny shenanigans as usual in Jeff mirrors, ggs!

GG's to the few people i've got a chance to play against. Cause of my internet situation, I only get to play bout after midnight or in the mornings and early afternoons on weekdays. Which are times no one is hardly on...Wireless just doesn't cut it on VF, it's fine on HDR though. Sucks when I see people playing and hosting yet I can't join.

Sorry to anyone i've left quickly on, I have little time to play when I can so I try not to waste it playing in bad connects.

Tricky, thanks man, I appreciate it. My game has improved from back in the days but it's still got a lot of holes in it. I'm reminded of it when I play vets like GT, Denkai and Konjou.
More so Konjou, more on that later.
Like I've told you before, I like how you play Eileen... but that's not necessarily a good thing. The thing is that I like the straight forward approach in VF and that's how your style is. Very straight and to the point. As much as I like that style, every time I play the vets I realize that there's a lot more to the game than guessing correctly on offense and defense.
Movement is my weakest area and the top 3 guys that end up with more wins than me always show me what good movement can do.
I'm kinda sorta applying movement lately, but it's still wack now and once it gets figured out I'm back to fighting a very mobile opponent while I'm moving like Frankenstein, lol.

Dennis, what happened man? I understand your frustration due to lag but it's a fight bro, just fight! If I'm at -15 there's no reason why I should be throwing you with my throw escapes, you're way better than that... or was the lag too strong?
Anyway, please kick my ass next time like I know you can

Gentleman Thief, those matches were epic, at least to me. I wanted to save all of them. The pressure was just on from the getgo. I had to save that first one though. Those first clashes are usually my favorite.

Konjou, props man. I haven't had my ass whooped like that in a really long time. Maybe it's cause I don't usually stick around after an opponent gets 10 straight on me so maybe I'll start doing that more often. I usually leave cause I feel that my opponent is probably done now. Like they achieved their goal and any other wins after that they're not really going to put in as much effort as they were putting in for that 10 streak.
Lol, Idk what your mindset was playing that other day but you were fighting tooth and nail to not let me win any match, at all. Shit was crazy, but I loved it.
Somebody resurrected a thread I had made a while back about the top 10 outside of Japan and when I went back and read my initial post I noticed that you were at the bottom, #10.
I'm starting to wonder if that ever bothered you and made you want to whoop my ass harder the past few weeks LOL

Konjou, you have stepped up your game enormously. It's like you're not even the same player... couple that with the fact that you have figured out my game to the point where even players who I think are stronger than you can't beat me as badly as you do. I'm trying to evolve my game a bit more. Give me more matches and I just might surprise you.

CHALLENGE: Konjou got 17 victories in a row on me. That's the biggest asswhooping I've had in many years.
I'm calling out all of you who consider yourselves good players to try to beat his record. I'll say this, not too many players can get to double digits on me so good luck.

Sorry I was interrupted by an over-sea phone call so I couldn't ignore it. I thought my gf would give me a hand on that so I didn't leave our match, but later on she handed to me again in the middle of our match. She was SO mad on me cuz I'm the one who suppose to answer it, not she. I shouldn't do two things at once. Sorry man.

Yeah, I don't know why those TE became to a throw, and I'm not surprised nowdays. I did try to wait for the second chance somehow cuz I couldn't use my first turn appropriately, such as your 2P after throw whiff. All my P,2P,and throw got CH so the only thing I could do is to wait until your 2P block, to gain another chance. For small advantage, I can make you stop if I constantly use elbow, or any moves like that. That's why my Lion/Kage/Pai is easy to play. But to be honest man, the game becomes a chaos if I constantly 2P/6P/9K+G. The rest is like evade>gamble big>evade>... loop. The entire pattern is that I have to 2P/6P to take opponents down before they flip the coin. Which is the big part I'm not a person into lag ones. Nothing wrong actually, it's just the reaction occupies the most part online.

It recalled me that CFWhite, and I can tell he is a very strong player with high speed. The only thing bothered me was not able to duck against her 46KP sabaki, even under my expectation. Otherwise, I would really want to play with Vann cuz she is amazing!

Btw, GGs to KOC and TrueWise, thanks for showing me how strong Vann she is! I still have no idea how to play her and remember all commends with 2 different stances. What a mess!!

Darth, that Lau's improved loads since we last played. Delayed 6p hit throw from stance to beat my evades was killing me. Must remember that for next time.

Stl tim ggs as always ty for the lion combos,bunp kin jack, hanaguma, outlandish robin, shellac, tsukaro. My input on my vanessa only combo was off, so embarassing. And peizo, very nice aoi, nadjaar, datchi spl: sorry for the 1 bar usually 2 with you. My lau is coming along if neone has 2 bars to asia minimum, come into party chat. We ve had fuLl party with vf players couple of new arcade players, from 2am - 5am is usually up feel free to drop by; but i wont tranlate or talk during my own matches..

I've fallen behind on my training recently and seeing how much some folk have improved has inspired me to pull the finger out and sort out my game.


I should be online Wednesday the entire day. Using Jacky. Join my game if you see it, want to shake off the bits of rust I have (inputs are gash) and I need to learn to take my time in defending as opposed to smashing out TEs too early and kicking myself for it later.

So yeah, join my game if you see it. The missus will be at work so I'll have no distractions. Until about 5:30 anyway.

Sorry in advance for anyone who plays me and it seems like I'm being repetitive, I may be practicing specific setupsor trying to gte myself at specific disadvantage to work some kinks out. It's one thing to perform it in dojo mode but it's totally different in a match.

Everbody whore out elbow sabaki at disadvantage. off line youd get destroyed by mids and at points they all get sabaki happy bit remember Vanessa is a tall light weightn. she takes hella punnishment

Thanks for the GG's man. I surely have a straightforward style right now, I'm working on getting my ETEG's at -8 to work better, delay attacks for catching evades, and fuzzying on the defensive. It makes my game a little predictable at times, but eh, I'm practicing those skills.

I suck with movement myself too. Though, as I've watched Japneese fights, I notice they don't always use all those fancy box step moves that some of the US fighters use a lot. Specifically eileen players, don't seem to use it all that much. I don't really understand why I don't see eileen's box stepping like mad on the streams, but I've definitely noticed it. I do feel like she's sluggish in that regard, but that might just be me.

Movement is the final fronteer.
